I am only working a half day tomorrow and off on Friday, so I guess I'm nearly done with my work week (still feels like it's dragging, though!).
I'm currently in scheduling hell. 20 people in a meeting from 3 different companies, and ONE PERSON from company A suddenly can't make it and wants me to reschedule. KILL KILL KILL.
I'm hung over, but had oh so much fun last night. I got a giant coffee this morning. I also am working half day tomorrow and then it's off to Texas. Woot woot.

I'm getting caught up on everyone's posts! Lots of good news up in here!
I have 3 days of hell at work until my crazy month is over, because I'm on PTO all next week. Thank goodness!
So, the party where I performed on Friday night with some of the other instructors from my studio? Outside. In 90 degree heat. And what felt like 90% humidity. Had to stick to REALLY basic moves because I had no grip! When we went to pack up the poles, they were literally dripping from condensation. It was ridiculous and a total disaster. We ended up painting on masks instead of doing full body paint, which was probably a good thing. A quick pic from before we got too slippery to climb!
This week has been crazy. I had a super long weekend. I went to see the eclipse. My in-laws live where it would be 100%. OMG it was amazing. My FIL's friend took some amazing pictures too.
I've been busting my hump trying to get a presentation ready. OY OY OY. So I've been MIA.
We fired two people yesterday, loss prevention managers. The only two we have. I have a feeling more shakeups are coming. My boss just put all recruiting work on me and said we will discuss plans on friday, which I'm guessing means we are letting other people go.

I'm casually window-shopping for horses (to see what's out there, of course. No, of course I'm not scheming to go pick up three pretty horses at once or anything )
Anyhow, saw a cute local ad for a horse. Ad claimed horse has really extensive showing experience, but is listed at a price maybe 1/3 of what I'd expect for that level. Thanks to the magic of Facebook and people who have public posts, I can see the horse was sold in 2015 for $16K, someone else listed him again in 2016 for $6K and say they think he has a degenerative spine disease, and now here he is in my neck of the woods for $3K and NO DISCLOSURE of any injuries. In fact, they're using the exact same photos and verbiage (you know, as a high-level show horse) as the 2015 ad. I hate people. Poor horse - he should be living the retired life in a grassy field and not being ridden.

Lol...I'm the fluffy one in back, but thanks! The woman on the left is in hear early 40s with two kids. The one in front is our studio owner, who has a 1-year-old. The one on the right has been in insanely good physical shape the whole time I've known her (since undergrad!). I'm in awe of how they stay in such awesome shape. I'm strong, but I like wine and food too much to have that kind of definition!
bullygirl979 I emailed the current ad and asked for his current training/workload and any injury or medication history. If they lie, I'm perfectly willing to send them a screenshot of his 2016 ad and ask if he had the required surgery to correct his kissing spine or not.

Ugh...I follow two doggos on Facebook (Handsome Dan and Titus & Hailey). Handsome Dan's mom posted last night that he is really sick and in the hospital. Hailey has cancer and her mom posted last night that she was crossing the rainbow bridge today.
Interview set up for tomorrow! Yay! It's at 6:30am, which is crazy, but it's at a production facility so it runs at all hours. I also won't have to take much time off of work, which is good too. Cross all the things! I liked the hr manager quite a bit and there's 100% chance of growth, all good things.
DAMN udscoobychick!!! You look freaking amazing! None of this fluffy stuff.
mags congrats on only one more year of school and on Gianna's graduation!
My day's been fairly uneventful. I went to the chiropractor and he doesn't think I should be doing the hold/restraint training recertification on Monday. We'll see how that all shakes out. Nothing really planned for today besides making a bunch of follow up phone calls.

My week is a real shitshow and I am behind on everything. I was going to leave town Friday afternoon for the week, then Harvey popped up, so I need to flee tomorrow to avoid driving in the torrential rain that is predicted. I have the dog & cat sitters lined up, but I have a ton of stuff for work & school I should get done before I go. Plus I am coming home with my BFF for her first visit here so I need to leave the house company ready. GAH. Bossman has given me yet another task to deal with, and I lost time from my regular tasks this week doing it. I was hoping not to have to work over the weekend, but that is looking highly unlikely. On the plus side, I am getting more hours on a regular basis, so that is great. I am quietly optimistic about this guy I have been on a few dates with. I'll be seeing him Th & Fr this week, and likely at least one other time next week while I'm up there. He is super nice, a grown-ass adult, and I have known him for several years as a friend. Sounds promising, yes?
I'm growing older but not up. My metabolic rate is pleasantly stuck, let the winds of time blow over my head. I'd rather die while I'm living than live while I'm dead.
