Happy Fall Y'all!

Pulled out cherrysmoke and NYX ultimate warm neutral palette and paired it with a nice dark berry lipgloss.

I am one PSL away from Basic today. Denim shirt dress? Check. Boots? Check. Scarf? Check. But it's, like, 68 out today.

Used the purple combo on my smashbox palette today. I lurve it. Also pulled out a dark berry gloss (buxom. I forget the name/color).

I'm obsessed with berry lip colours right now.

It's not quite fall yet here in the PNW and I'm glad because I'm not ready for summer to be over yet.

I'm fully embracing fall. I pulled out my bronzy gold shadows and terracotta lipsticks today. I love it:)

I'm still on vaca, so fall will have to wait a few more days for me. I'm a little disappointed that I didn't use as many bold summer colors this year.

Grr I want to order one or two of the TF peachs & cream lipsticks but there are no swatches/reviews online yet and I hated their other matte lipsticks. :/ I'm worried they might pull the lipsticks because Tatcha(?) I think is filling copyrights over the packaging. I think I'll order if I get a good Sephora code this weekend.

I went to Ulta and played with the whole I Want Kandee collection. The eyeliner is really neat and wouldn't budge off my hand. The melted matte lipsticks were meh, they never dried down. I thought the melted ice cream was a color I didn't have but since it didn't dry down on my hand, I wasn't in love. The lipsticks did smell heavenly though. I don't think I know enough about banana powder to give first impression feedback. The highlighter though y'all. It was love at first swatch. I went in really excited about the eyeliner and melted ice cream and left with the eyeliner and highlighter.

PS: the eyeshadow palette is super cute, shadows looks great and felt lovely. It would make a great gift or what not but I'm good on eyeshadow, like really good.

I saw the Too Faced Just Peachy matte palette in person and it's soooooo pretty.

Nothing really catches my eye lately. I've been focusing more on skin care products lately.

Kandee highlighter is awesome! A light hand is definitely the way to go because wow does it pack a punch. The eyeliner is great but I don't know if I have the skills to use it. I can't draw a straight smooth line to save my soul. That's why I like the pens, I can glide them along. Oh well, try a couple of more times before deciding whether it stays or goes back.

I need a new powder brush. I have a nice fluffy Sonia Kashuk brush but it sheds like the dickens. Daily I'm pulling brush fibers off my face.

I also noticed I need a good eye moisturizer. At nearly 40 I'm starting to get smile lines.

I just order the Ulta long handled kabuki brush. Was only 6 during the current sale. Seems to get good reviews. I also really like my Too Faced retractable kabuki brush.

I'm always out of town for this but we'll be here this year! I'm excited to go with my BFF and brunch after.

I just received a 5x points on ALL purchases from Ulta. The company is healthy right? Should I be worried they're closing my second home? A new one is going up near the movie theater I frequent.

Fans of the Balm! Just saw this on Facebook. After the discount, it's $14.40. I only have one of the three colors - Balm Desert, but it's easily a desert island product for me. Works as a blush and a bronzer, and is gorgeous.

Yaaaaas! I've been doing well with not buying any more palettes but this and the TF/Kandi one might break me. I told DH my last palette purchase ever was the Naked Heat. LOL.

I was reading some reviews from Australia last night, they said the highlights had chunky glitter which is a major turn of food me. It also seemed like they were giving away foundation samples. No one seemed overly impressed, besides the shade range on the foundation.

I bought the Kandee eyeshadow palette and am so impressed with it, I have pretty low expectations for TF since they are so hit or miss. I also grabbed the NYX cool neutrals palette since it was only $12 and it's decent.

We are getting a new one too, only a few minutes from my house which could turn into an issue. 😂 I also read recently that their stock is doing well so I think they are fine.

I'm wondering if 10x points day and 21 days of beauty aren't going as well at it usually does so they decided to add extra incentive. It's so lackluster this time around.

Is there any difference between high end and drugstore hair tools? I broke my flat iron and I'm balking a little at the prices of GHB/Drybar - is it really that much more money?
