What's this about Trump now? You fuckers ruin all my joy. Otters and dolphins and lipsticks. I can't have one damn thing. And that stupid orange fucker getting in all my shit and tainting everything sacred.

I may have finally found a drugstore mascara that I like. Picked up the Revlon tubing mascara yesterday and I love it so far today. It's more lengthening than volumizing on me but it's a perfect everyday look that I like. Fingers crossed it lasts the rest of the day.

Ohhhhh! I'm excited to hear about the lasting power. Will you check in and let us know how it goes?

I think my Tarte Rainforest of the Sea 1 and 2 eyeshadow palettes went bad.
I usually rotate my palettes and I swear, when I first got these two palettes, the eyeshadows are so creamy and easy to put on. Now it seems...dry. I can't even get some of it on a brush and onto my lids smoothly. This is just sad.

I only wore it about 6 hrs but it still looked great when I took it off. Had a tiny bit of flaking but i could swipe it off easily. It also removed really easily. I just had to dab my lashes with warm water and then I removed with Micellar water and it all came right off. So far I like it a lot.
ETA: I guess technically it is a personal donation, but the donor is married to the owner of Senegence.
This is almost comforting. I can just stop considering it.
I'm so mad. I removed myself from the group and told my friend why I won't buy anymore. I will not willingly put money in the hands of any DT supporter, not ever.

Yeah, I really wish I'd known this myself before I bought 8ish colors and multiple glosses. But I'm done, fuck the owners.
I'm late to the game and started using those Asian paper masks. I did one this morning and love the way it made my skin look and feel. I don't like how squishy it feels though.
Since my skin tends to be super dry, I really like cream products - eyeshadow, blush. But it's hard to find quality products at the drug store. Any recs? I have a few from Maybelliene that are OK.
I've really whittled down my makeup collection and I love how cremes can do double duty.

ELF's shadow pots are awesome. NYX makes great cream blushes. They make some shadow sticks that are pretty good too.
ETA: I forgot about Milani's shadow sticks - pretty slim collection. They're pretty good as well.
ETA2: I wear eyeshadow primer with all of the above - milani's is my favorite.

The ColourPop super shock shadows are pretty good cream shadows and they're $5 a piece. They also have cream blushes, highlights etc.
i had to make three separate orders at ulta to get all the clairisonic brush heads (buy one, get one free today) i needed - a set for me, one for DH and one for SIL who is traveling all day and not a platinum member so doesn't get free shipping.
also grabbed a travel size of the UD troublemaker mascara since it's been out of stock at sephora and a jack black travel set to put aside for my DH's chirstmas stocking.
I finally finished a full size lipstick that I've been working on all year.
I was elated yesterday, but immediately depressed when I started thinking about how long it's going to take me to get through my other lip products, if that's the rate its going.

This may be super old news, but I highly recommend a boxycharm subscription!
I got my second box yesterday, it has a full palette, lipgloss, brush, Mac eyebrow pen, and a hair mask thing. I read spoilers for next month and it's a Dr brant micro abrasion thing, and a tarte lip gloss. All full size!
It's $21/month.
For me it feeds my addiction for makeup I don't actually need, lol. Last month was a tarte palate and some brand of brushes I am loving. It seems like a great value!
I have read it gets old quick bc it's a lot of neutrals but for now I am loving it!

Quoting myself since I forgot to add that this morning I got a 5x points offer for my anniversary of being a rewards member. Racked up nearly 600 more points to take me to over 3,000. Can't wait for some holiday sets to be allllllllllllll mine!!
I wish Ulta would let you redeem your points in the form of a gift card. Would be so much better to be able to spend the credit spread out over time instead of all at once.
