Jealous! I'm trying to decide it I want this one or Lorac Mega Pro 4. Why it it so hard to choose! Maybe I'll just buy both and not tell DH 😉

So I was googling for an eyeshadow look today and I just found this YouTube tutorial on how to handle downtunred & hooded eyes and it's SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much more helpful than any other beauty vlogger I've seen. I want to hug her.

there was a special sephora app-only drunk elephant kit yesterday and i snapped it up. it came with a full size TLC serum (which i love and have been waiting for a set like this to come out to get a full size with bonuses), and what i'm estimating to be deluxe sample sizes of the jelly cleanser, retro whipped cream and marula oil. i thought about waiting it out to grab it with the november coupon but didn't want to risk having it go out of stock. i can't wait!

Glad to see Sephora has some DE kits this year. Dermstore had awesome ones last year with full-size products, plus their coupons. Hoping they'll run them again.

My Vit C serum starts giving off a metallic smell once it has been on my skin for 15 minutes or so. Is this normal? It smells like I've been rubbing old pennies on my face.

This is a relatively new serum (Klairs) to me, I noticed this back in the summer before I had to go back to skincare basics, but had not identified the cause until today.

Nope, still clear. It doesn't smell like anything in the bottle. The metallic smell starts wafting around after a bit of time on my skin.

Yeah, TO's ascorbyl glucoside does the same thing to my face and that's why I only use it at night.

I really like it. The mattes take a little building up but they are true to color but I prefer that because I can be heavy handed sometimes. The shimmers are gorgeous and easy to apply. I'd say get it and if you don't like it take it back:)

I've been hating my foundation lately, but just bought a replacement so didn't want to waste it. So I tried switching up my application. I tried using a stiff buffing brush instead of a beauty blender. I'm liking the result.
