Today we're having my in laws over for burgers. Tomorrow my H took the day off, so we're going to go to story time in the morning and I have a doctor's appointment in the afternoon. Wednesday through Friday I work. Saturday we'll go to art and play classes, then I have my cousin's wedding shower in the afternoon.
Meeting a friend for coffee in a few minutes, then going to the gym this afternoon. H is working a half day, so we'll have some extra time together when he gets home.
Friday: Tattoo session. We're hoping to finish up my sleeve - Adding another flower on my shoulder, filling the open space on my wrist, and putting background into my forearm (upper arm background is already done). It'll probably be a 4-5 hour session, but I'm so excited to see the final product!
We're having a great bonus day as a family + the kid we're babysitting. Hubby has been over the top helpful and I've spent most of the day just puttering around. It's been glorious!
This week I have business order to accomplish (yay!) and some personal goals. Nothing too crazy. M starts preschool. Not sure how I feel about that...
Busy day here. Chores, walk around the neighborhood, cleaned DH's car, cleared out my flowerbeds for fall. Still need to workout and hit the grocery store.
Probably take DS to the playground or splash pad this afternoon, then I'm taking my brother shopping! He bought his first house last week so I'm going to buy him all sorts of stuff Yay!
Also on today's to-do list: TTC sex, lol.
Imma need you to be my life coach and tell me how you got all that done with a little one. I'm not momming right!!!
So DH and I made up. Trying to be tourists in our town today and not a lot is open!!!
We went to Lowe's and out to lunch today. DS is fighting a nap for the second day in a row, so I'm going to need him to cut that out. Hoping to get to watch most of the football game tonight.
My BFF is planning on coming down one day this week to hangout. Not a whole lot going on this week.
DH is waiting on an offer from a new company. The last one came in extremely low. This one seems much more viable. So we're cautiously excited about it.
Kid activities planned T and W. Th - lunch/hanging out with my mom and grandma. I've been trying to get me and the girls out to do this once a week. It's working nicely.
ewall- way to go! You have accomplished a lot today! Good luck with TTC sex LOL.
MrsMB- I am jealous of pooh8402 as wel! Just a little!
amaranth- glad you are having a lovely family day and your DH is being so helpful! Can't believe M is starting preschool (C was supposed to start next month but it's pushed til he is pooped trained...so likely never LOL).
Today has been busy but good! Took C to the park this morning. My dad joined us as well so that was an extra special treat! Then we went to starbucks and took our coffee with us to the regional park for a walk around the lake. Boys are napping now (DH is paddle boarding) and then we are going to our city lake with DH's BFF and his family. It should be fun but I am kind of not looking forward to it...it's been a busy weekend and I would like to relax a little. Plus, knowing DH he won't parent nearly enough and it will just be more work for me (BFF also wants to BBQ and they are not close to the water, where the kids will want to be).
Weather is nice this week so we will be doing our usual walks to the parks, play dates, etc. It's also month end for DH so I am prepping for lots of solo parenting this week.

I worked today, but yay for holiday pay!
I work 6 hours Wednesday then have a 6 hour drive, alone, to go to a fireworks club convention. H will hopefully be there when I get there already with the company vehicle. We are doing the large show so the rest of the week is set up then shoot Saturday night. Our hotel is apparently across the road from a casino so H is excited for that lol.
Just coming up for air after a crazy weekend. Friday was my first day back at work and the kids first day at daycare. B enjoyed her new preschool room and G did well also!
Saturday was B's 3rd birthday party. She wanted a Frozen theme and now owns every piece of Frozen merchandise out there lol. Sunday was my nephew's baby dedication and party and today I solo parented while H played golf for his bday, which is Wednesday. Back to work tomorrow and I'm excited to sit at my desk and drink (hot!) coffee.
Tomorrow H has a fantasy football draft after work and we'll all be asleep before he gets home. Wednesday is his birthday and I dropped the ball on ordering him his gift in time. I feel bad and might try to run out and grab something tomorrow for B to give him.
Saturday we're supposed to go to a racetrack with H's family but I might stay behind with G. His schedule got messed up all weekend due to events and I really don't want to make a habit of it every weekend and deal with even more night wakings.
Oh my gosh, MrsMB, I would be raging if someone reorganized my kitchen. ESPECIALLY after I specifically told them not to. Don't touch my organization systems!

We ended up going over to DH's BFF's house and had a great time! They invited another friend of ours and it was great to see everyone (and the kids had a blast, although C didn't eat nearly enough and had to shovel food in and prolonged bedtime once we were home).
MrsMB- how frustrating! I would not be ok with anyone reorganizing my kitchen.
I did a bunch of cleaning, had a friend over to swim, and took DS to Cars 3 today. I leave on a work trip to DC tomorrow and come back Friday night. I will miss my little guy, but I'm looking forward to three nights in a hotel! I also get to meet my baby niece for lunch tomorrow while there!
I wish they made a sleeping pill that would knock you out for just a couple hours. I keep waking up early and can't get back to sleep. Today it was because of a dream but the last few mornings it was for no reason. Frustrating!
So awful (( are you anywhere close to the bad areas??
Not close enough to be worried about evacuating or anything, but our air quality is getting hit pretty hard. We're being warned to stay indoors as much as possible because it's reached a hazardous level.
