Had my 1:1 with my boss. Pretty sure I'll be getting an offer. While she didn't say that, she did say "they'd be a fool not to make you an offer" and she's high enough in the food chain that she would know. She also said that the process is "going to get wrapped up really soon" and so I think she was trying to talk me out of taking the offer, when (if) it comes.

This is great news for you! And I mean, she's free to make you an offer you can't refuse if she wants you to stay, right? SaveSave

Company is pretty clear that no one is getting raises out of the restructure as 99% of these moves are lateral and not a promotion. She did make an odd comment that it was too bad her positions weren't posted now. I wonder if she is going to have some senior positions. Regardless, getting a promotion wouldn't change my mind that I don't want to drive 60-90 minutes (one way) 1-2 times a week. Yuck.

UPDATE!!! She's heard from the hotel, her mom is safe. They have no power or cell service but they have a room, food and water. The airport is toast so they're looking at an evacuation plan by boat hopefully before Juan hits. Current plan is to take them to Curacao.
