I've been using Laura Mercier translucent face powder and I'm not in love with it. It seems a little too matte/ sits on my face and doesn't blend well. I want to avoid all of the racist brands and I'm open to drug store brands if possible. Any recommendations? I used to have oily skin but it's getting dry with winter/ pregnancy. I'm using a heavy lotion so i do like a powder to take some of the shine off.
Sephora sells a half size of the Cover FX powder if you want to try it for less money fyi. I usually use WnW Reserve Your Cabana lightly in the winter as a setting powder. My skin has been getting dryer in winter and that powder helps give a nice glow. Milani has a Ready Set Glow powder too that I want to try.
I've been using Amazing Cosmetics Powderset to set my undereye concealer. It doesn't settle into lines and doesn't leave a white cast (I'm pretty fair though). You should be able to get it at Sephora too. I have thought of using it for my full face when I run out of my Laura Mercier powder, because I don't like the LM packaging and I agree the powder can feel a little heavy. I haven't tried it on full face though, but I imagine it would work since I like it for under eye so much.
I love Coty airspun. Also, MAC has a Careblend pressed powder that is a bit creamier. I know that might be a higher price point than you want to go to.
