I've started shopping too! I actually bought a fingerling for DD on Amazon last week, but now I'm wondering if I should get one for DS1 (3.5 years old and wants everything his sister has).
I'm keeping a "note" in my phone every time they ask for something and keeping track of what I buy so I don't forget.
DS is into paw patrol and nick jr shows so he should be easy to shop for. DS2 will be a little trickier because he won't need much, but I still have to wrap things because of the older kids. I'm thinking I will buy small things and individually wrap things to make it look even.

Oh and Daniel says he just wants tape for Christmas, all different kinds of tape, he's obsessed with it. I've been picking up washi tape, road tape, dry erease tape, anything I see on sale for the last few months, Santa is stuffing his stocking with tape, lol.
Random Christmas question. We will be at the ILs the 24-29th. I was thinking of telling A the 23rd is actually Christmas and doing our Christmas morning at home that day. Is that okay lol?! Pretty sure my MIL won't be happy but how can she get her santa gifts on the 23rd if we don't lie about the actual day? The ILs have been known to give them a single $15 gift so I don't really want to pretend that is their santa gift.
We just moved and the older boys really want a fort or treehouse for the back yard, so that will be our Santa gift. A couple of small things and some books and we are done!
I'd like to keep it small but that never works They like dress up costumes so I have some of those in mind and they asked for puppets too. Besides that everything is toys or super heroes and we have so many already

It's crazy, but I think we're getting Andrew a laptop for Christmas. Now that he's got technology at school, he's obsessed. DH and I both have fully loaded MacBooks, and I just don't feel safe letting A have full use of them. So we'll pick up some $150-200 simple laptop that he'll be able to use.
Other than that, just space things. I think DH wants to get him a nice telescope, but I might let one of the grandparents get that.
I got her a couple of things in the July toy clearance...everything is Barbie right now or Wonder Woman. I just feel like we have soooo much crap I really want to go light this year. DH is on board right now we'll see how he feels closer to Christmas. She keeps saying she wants a unicorn from Santa (a real one) we have been telling her Santa can't make animals. Lol Idk what she will end up asking him for.

Anyone have any fun ideas for craft/art based gifts? A is super into coloring and drawing now and really any crafts. I would prefer not a million small pieces, but I can't think of anything other than play doh and markers which we already have.

Science kit? My girls love theirs. I got it for like $12 on sale and it's just little test tubes and stuff. You mix colors and then "grow crystals."
Oh I'm sure she'd love that! Do you remember which one you got?
amelia I have no idea. I saw a thing at Costco that was Minnie Mouse magic clips almost where you can switch the dresses.
For anyone who wants. Know I saw the wellie wishers American girl dolls
A had the Minnie Mouse thing and it was a huge hit for several years! I also gave one to my friend who has 2 little girls and they both still love them (they're 2 and 4).
Do you remember the Wellie Wisher price or did it come with more than just the doll?
