Weird story. It's fucked up, but it's also a bad plan. It's not like she didn't realize she wasn't taking the pills. So it was fucked up AND dumb because it's not like he could trick her into getting pregnant. Now if he had replaced them somehow THAT would have been smarter.
If it is true, it's beyond gross. Those two are on my radar as desperate for any attention possible though so I question the veracity of this story. A bit too (dumbly) designed for attention.
I read an interview with her, and I think they are both ridiculous. She plans on having a "month of silence" with the two of them and their new baby after birth.

Right? Oh, my pills are gone so I guess I already took them.
Me thinks this is not really how it went down, but they think this is somehow supposed to make him look desirable?
Maybe they think women will just be like, Oh, sweet, he just wanted a baby so bad!
ETA: Ok, read the story - it is more like they talked about having a baby and agreed, so he went in and took her pills because no take-backsies? Dumb. Both of them.

So she's never been around a new born I don't know who these people are, except I now know he's an asshole and she's got some issues.

I doubt this is what actually happened. It seems a little too contrived to do it, video it, video her reaction and then the pops baby and moth of silence. Very, look at us.

I almost would watch a reality show about that, because "silent" is the last thing a new baby is. And it's super easy to soothe a new baby by not saying anything.

“We decided that we wanted to have children together, and it was just time. But unbeknownst to poor Nikki, she didn’t realize that I was going to go in her purse and take out her birth control"
FUCK YOU IAN! Would you feel the same if Niki decided to poke holes in your condom wrappers.......

Againthough, this isn't the same. She knew she wasn't taking the pills so if she still had sex with him after that she should know there's a chance of getting pregnant. If you poke holes in a condom, the guy probably wouldn't know. Totally different.
After reading the article, my take on these two particular chucklefucks is that you really don't have to share everything that happens in your personal life with whole entire fucking world.
However, if a man destroys or gets rid of his wife's birth control without her knowledge and consent, that is very much NOT OK.

We don't know that she wasn't taking the pills still, he said they talked about having a kid. To me it was his way of saying we are doing it now, he just isn't smart enough to come up with another deception.

Right, but AFTER he threw them away it's not like she didn't know she wasn't taking them.

It just doesn't seem cute to me, it sounds controlling. I think we may have to agree to disagree, lol.

This sounds like a Scientology thing.
Didn't read the article, but he sounds like a dick.

I just want to say, he also said he was going pop them all out of her pack. So even though she knows that she's hasn't taken her pill, he didn't throw away an intact pack, which she can take out of the trash, he was going to take all the pills out of the package.
"But unbeknownst to poor Nikki, she didn't realize that I was gonna go in her purse and take out her birth control and pop them...by the way it was at the beginning of the pack so I had to pop all those suckers out, there was like 25 of them."

Every daytime soap villain knows the way to do this is the swap the real pills for placebos. Come on Ian!
Also, these two are so trying to get a reality show.

They were out of the country at the time so it's not like she could just call up her doc and run to the pharmacy for replacements.
Any guy who is controlling enough to throw out his wife's birth control without asking her (and video it) sounds controlling and entitled enough to coerce her afterwards.
(I assume the "month of silence" means not talking to the press or posting photos on social media, not literal silence. Because that isn't happening).
