DH is paintballing this weekend! Meaning DD and I have a girls weekend!!! Going to open gym tonight and then the plan is to stay home and be crafty all weekend.
Fall activities...leaf raking, farm days, and going over to the coast because the weather is usually nicer as we get fog season instead of fall.

Gymnastics for DD tomorrow morning, birthday party in the afternoon. DH has floor hockey Sunday morning and I'm planning on taking DD out for some one on one time in the afternoon. The usual grocery shopping/cleaning/laundry needs to happen as well.
I love the corn maze, pumpkin patch and hikes in the mountains.

My half marathon walk is on Sunday! Eeek! I really did not train well this year, but I'm pretty confident that it won't be too big a struggle. This year I'm walking with other people, so it'll make the time go faster. Last year I did the full marathon alone and it was LONG. The biggest issue is that it's now supposed to be 80 and kind of humid, which sucks. Not the New England fall weather I was hoping for.
I woke up today thinking it was Saturday. I guess it's not as bad as waking up on Tuesday thinking it's Saturday???
We have no real plans this weekend. I'm tempted to pick a weekend and send DH and the kids out to his parents so I can... do nothing. I just want time to do nothing.

DS has his first dentist appt tomorrow, hopefully that goes well. Then in the afternoon I want to make either cheesecloth ghosts or spider egg sacks for our Halloween decor. Sunday we need to prep and shop for our trip - we're going "up north" for 4 days as our family vacation this year.

We are camping this weekend, so I spent an hour and a half this morning packing and loading up all the things that entails and the entire time I thought to myself... how in the hell am I going to get ready for camping trips if I get a FT job that isn't WFH? I'm trying to ignore the question and just hope it'll all work out since I'll be back on my ADD meds by then anyway and if I'm not, I plan on taking next summer off from work anyways.
As for the weekend it's supposed to be hotter than shit outside, which is not getting me in the fall mood whatsoever. 90 degrees in late September is not something I'm cool with since most pools and such close labor day weekend. I'm hoping there's a splash pad or something open tomorrow. Sunday we are going to eat for my mom's birthday that was yesterday.
Speaking of birthdays, I have no idea what I'm getting DH for his and it's next Sunday. We all know I make a big deal about mine so I am not pleased that I let it get this close before coming up with his gift.

We are in the middle of a heat wave (around 90 degrees), so it does not feel like the beginning of fall. However, we have leaves falling, so we may need to do some raking tomorrow...while it's 90 degrees outside. (I have lived in MI my whole life, and I never remember it being 90 degrees for almost a week this late in September. The forecast is in the high 80s to around 90 through Tuesday.)
Tomorrow DS has a flag football game, then we're going out for lunch with MIL (and she invited us out, but guess who will be paying?), then I have stuff to do around the house (raking leaves!), and then I'm going to take the kids to see the Lego Ninjago movie while DH is at his bowling league.
Sunday we have church, then DD has a play date, then we are going to a church family event, and then we have small group at house.
k3am , DH took the kids camping in June and I stayed home. It was seriously one of the best weekends ever. (ETA: I'm hoping he makes that camping trip an annual thing.)

erinshelley21, I usually do all the packing and loading for camping too. DH acts like 1) camping is so easy and 2) doesn't understand why I pack/bring so much with us while we camp. He somehow doesn't notice all the hours I spend packing (clothes, food, first aid, towels, toiletries, etc.) and then doesn't understand that I have to plan for just about any eventuality when it comes to camping so we do have to go buy sweatshirts and band-aids and bug spray.
If DH and I are both working the day before, we usually load the trailer the night before, which means packing needs to be done the night before that.

Tomorrow is soccer but ds can't play bc of the concussion so we sit and watch the other kids. Dh and baby are staying home. Then I'm going to a friends house to visit and meet her new baby. And we have church tomorrow night. Sunday is for sleeping as said concussion foiled our other plans.

Covergirl82, I had great intentions of getting it all done before today but it just wasn't possible this week. DH does thankfully recognize that its not super easy for me right now. He used to complain about how all the food we ate while camping was cooked on the grill but then when I pointed out that I cook 90% of our meals at home and do ALL of the packing he realized the least he could do is stand by the grill and flip the food lol. We also camper camp so I don't have to worry about first aid kids and most toiletries, just clothes, food and all the baby stuff.
FFFC: I turned off DH's alarm last night. If he was going to go to the gym fine, but I had a feeling he wasn't. He gets up at 5 but doesn't have to and was complaining if being tired. If he doesn't go to the gym he mopes around all depressive, so I decided to force him to sleep until 5:45, and he is more cheerful today. He would have still had time to do the gym since his first appointment wasn't until 9, 5 minutes away. Spoiler alert- He didn't go to the gym.
Got the tent ready for the camp out next weekend. Reviewed some tax issues with DH and am also doing a life ins review. Menu planned and ordered groceries.
Tomorrow I work. H has plans for brunch with his friend and the kids. Sunday is rocket launch at Boy Scouts and laundry.
Fav activity- there is a fall kids fair I really enjoyed last year.
I'm playing vball tonight for a tournament to raise money for Dds class trip. I really just want to sleep.
Tomorrow, we are going to an air show. I really want to tour an historical open house nearby, but I need to run, and I don't want to be rushed after being so busy last weekend.
Sunday, I hope to piddle in the yard, cookout, and finally just enjoy my fished house.
Random, I am really starting to freak if we should have spent on the home remodeling. I realize it is too late, and we can afford it, but when you have to buy a new phone, get hit with the bill for filling your gas for heating for winter, car insurance and 529 withdrawal in the same time frame, it makes you wonder.

I feel like my entire weekend revolves around the insanely hot weather.
Tonight we're taking the kids to a HS football game (even though I'm dead tired), since the weather is good and the next game will probably take place in the snow.
Saturday we're going to the MSU/Notre Dame game. We had planned on going early and tailgating all afternoon but since it's supposed to be 90 and full sun, we may just go out to dinner and then tailgate for an hour or so pre-game. The game doesn't start until 8pm, so I'm going to be out WAY past my bedtime.
Sunday I'm running a half marathon in the morning. I use the term "running" loosely, because although I'm fully trained and prepared to run it, the freaking high is 89 degrees. I die when it hits 70. Kill me now people. Then we have DS's flag football game, then I'm assuming pool time, since again. 89 degrees. I keep thinking we're going to close the pool one of these weekends...
Tomorrow DD has a football game at 5pm. Not sure what else. Maybe we'll go to the gym and a swim. DH had the mobile storage unit delivered today so he/we will be emptying it. My back has been killing me this week so I am going to do as little as possible to help lol. No wonder I eat crackers for him. :/ But for real I will hang with DD so we can stay out of his hair.
Weather is miserable today. The kids are exhausted after a long week, and both seem to be coming down with colds. They just got home, so they're watching a moving and working on a new puzzle. That's tonight's plan.
Tomorrow DD1 has soccer, I need to grocery shop, but not much else planned. DD1 seems to be really into Basketball, and asked for a hoop for her birthday. Maybe we'll go pick that out.
Sunday is supposed to be 80 degrees - very warm for around here - so we'll swim in the pool and probably grill out. Kids both have piano lessons early in the morning - they'll be done by 1030. I might try to hit the gym. Boring weekend, but DH just told me he needs to travel all week next week, so I'm cool with a low key weekend.

Hopefully a quiet weekend of soccer events and a birthday party.
We had so much fun going to the pumpkin patch last year and DD was talking this morning about how she wants to go again, but it is still September so it seems too soon.

Weekend is up in the air.
I found a bike on a triathlon facebook group that I want to possibly buy...but I'm trying to figure out when I have time to go look at it. It's a very good price so I don't want to go too late, but I'm swamped with 2 birthday parties, an actual play date on Sunday, my long run and my bike ride. So I'm considering ditching my bike ride to go look at it.
But I don't know. Since I'm buying something from an online facebook group person, I should probably go with my husband right? To avoid being murdered?

I'm knocking things off the to do list on Saturday and then taking the kids to their first opera on Sunday. With my pockets filled with candy in case I need to distract my five year old past hour two.
erinshelley21, I usually do all the packing and loading for camping too.
Haha! This exactly. I'm the main camper packer bc I have off in the summer but spring and fall camping we have to split it up over a few days and both work on it.. erinshelley21 when I'm working we take all the clothes out one night, them the next night we get food from the store and put it directly into the camper. H splits wood and packs it the night before too. I set a reminder to remember to turn the fridge on in time and super organized with lists. We have toiletries and linens just for the camper.
Covergirl82 it does take HOURS doesn't it? You have a travel trailer don't you? We keep all the first aid kits and "camping clothes" in there. I pack it in bins when we cover it for the winter though. Do you guys keep your campers at home or in storage? It's got to be so much harder to have it stored away. Ours is at home and we can break up the work when it's convenient. And when I run out of things like Foil or deodorant in the house I can grab it from the camper 😉
My weekend: Gym at 8 with the kids, pictures and soccer game 11:15-1, then DS1 and I are going to steal away and go to a fencing tournament to watch Men's Sabre compete at 2.
Sunday I have a half marathon relay-I'm running the longer leg. and nothing else planned.
Who recommended Hart of Dixie?! I'm watching it and starfishing the bed bc DH is working overnight. It's cute!

This weekend is going to be nuts. We have the black tie gala. DH went to pick up his tux today. He bought one, and they were having a sale where if you bought a suit, you got one free. Tux was supposed to be altered by today. Suit could wait until mid-October. Someone switched the tags, so suit was ready today. No tux. They promised to have it ready by 2:00 tomorrow. Here's hoping they do. We are so screwed if they don't.
All of tomorrow revolves around this event. DD and I are going to get mani/pedis tomorrow morning. At 1:45 I have to get hair and makeup done. DH has to go get the tux. Then we go to the thing, which doesn't even start until 7:30. I'm going to be up so far past my bedtime!
And some time tomorrow I have to take DS to Target to get his special toy for going a week with no accidents!
Sunday we will spend grocery shopping and recovering. Oy.

campermom when medicated (ADD) I can handle prepping all week. Right now though not so much lol. We keep ours at home during the season then in the winter we put it in MIL's barn. I do the same thing when I run out of things. The camper saved Christmas noodles from not having any salt and pepper one year lol. We are still trying to stock the camper with it's own set of things

Tomorrow I'm going to an exercise class while H takes DD2 to tumbling and DD1 watches. Then the girls and I are off to visit my parents and go for a swim. H will get some downtime and hopefully work on chopping up more fallen trees. Sunday we are doing something () with my inlaws.
My favorite thing about fall is the slightly cooler weather and fall festivals. This photo is particularly appropriate this year.

Tonight I am a bit sore from having my IUD taken out. I was supposed to get a new one, but my cervix said NO. Which I suppose will be fine for a while, because I doubt I will be having sex anytime soon.
So I'm planning to take it easy tomorrow, other than walking the dog and coffee with a friend. I'll try to make a dent in my to do list.
Sunday I want to get an early start. There's a beach up north that is dog friendly, and I want to go there and take some pictures, maybe have a picnic lunch. I think it will be nice.
