Add yours! Wanna play When Did I Ovulate?
I slept really badly on CD14, waking up every hour. If I discard that day (which I had been because of the crappy sleep), it's CD12. If I don't, it CD14. (I have no idea why it's an open circle--It was at my regular time.) Based on CM (and that study Jalapeñomel posted), I think CD12, but now I'm second guessing. FWIW my cover line is usually 97.7 or 97.8. Thoughts?

I think the chart with crosshairs on the 12th looks better, plus if you didn't sleep well the temp wasn't accurate (and would be higher than it should be, which is consistent with the number.) plus the ovulation dip is better with that temp pattern. Do you usually get a nice strong dip with ovulation? If so, go with that version.

I used to, but it's less usual now. Even worse, I had a 16 day luteal cycle last month, so knowing when to test will be complicated!
Why can't our bodies just be consistent!? It's so annoying.
I will post my ridiculously jagged chart once I do my OPK in a few hours. It's never looked like this, I just cannot seem to get the temp in our bedroom overnight right. I'm either sweating and dying or freezing cold and it shows.

Here's my absurd chart. I threw out my temp from yesterday because I slept like 1 hour the whole night. I'm glad I am using OPKs because I think these temps are probably nonsense.

I got another positive OPK this morning. Not as glaringly clear as the one yesterday, but definitely still positive. So, of course, H is going to be OOT starting tonight and won't be home until Sunday. lol.
Based on physical symptoms, I feel like I O'ed on CD18 or 19. I ran out of OPKs so no confirmation there. This morning's temp has me thrown off though.

@pennycandy, did you get crosshairs? seeyalater52, no positive OPK yet? katespade, did you get crosshairs for CD17 this am? @melsamooney, what's the story with the temp you discarded on CD14? Because otherwise I'd say CD13?

Jalapeñomel, did you temp go up this morning? If you've had EWCM, Thursday looks promising. sarapocalypse, it's a little hard with the missing temps, but if your temp stayed up, CD18 looks promising.
It's looking good katespade! And your timing was great! That's exciting!
I'm anxious to see what happens tomorrow, since I slept so poorly last night. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but I'm also really excited to see something happening this cycle!

Not yet. My sleep is never great so it's hard to know how accurate my temps are. It's also a full degree higher than what it was prior to my first.

I just got it!!!!!!!!!! Of course it's the worst possible timing since the office isn't open on the weekend so paging the doctor it's all done using the on-call answering service, but I will get a call back about our appointment soon, and the IUI will be tomorrow!!!!!

I am totally crying right now, guys.
OMG!!! This is sooooo exciting! I hope this is your last 2WW! How's your wife handling it??
My insurance benefits say "infertility treatments subject to applicable co-pays," so does that mean it's fully covered? Sadly, CS is closed over the weekend, so I can't get clarification.

I think she is a little nervous but more excited than I am (she doesn't have to do most of the stressful parts so I think that helps haha). It's at 8:15am - yikes!
That does sound promising re: your copayment! That would indicate to me that you have fertility coverage, although what specifically is covered can vary a lot. Some plans only cover visits, others cover blood work and medication (and a lot of blood work can be coded as non-fertility anyways) and other will also cover procedures and interventions, although most have a tiering effect and rules (have to try IUI first for so many cycles before IVF and so on.) Does your insurance plan have a central fertility line you can call? They tend to be more knowledgeable on the restrictions and coverage rules than the average customer service folks you get when you call the regular customer support. ETA: also, you're in NY, is your employer based there? If you have a small group employment plan that is governed by the DOI (and not self insured through your employer) you would probably have some fertility coverage because NY mandates it at some level for those types of plans. You can read more here: www.ncsl.org/research/health/insurance-coverage-for-infertility-laws.aspx

I'm a public school teacher and my DH is a professor at a public school, so I'll look into that.
And since we are in open enrollment now, we can make the switch.

Jalapeñomel, fertility usually has a separate section in your insurance plan documents where they spell it out for you what is covered or not. I would guess that your plan would need to comply with NY regs, and possibly your husband's, but either could also be self insured (this is more common at large employers like universities.) Your HR will know whether it's a self insured plan. Either plan could also cover more than what they are required to cover by law, so you never know! I'd try to look at the actual documents (and if you get copies electronically and want to PM me I can take a look at them if you can't figure out what they're saying. It can be like a whole other language.)

Good luck, I hope you have good coverage!
tha k you, this is very kind!
I'll take a look at their website this afternoon to see if I can find the actual benefits stuff.
Lots of optimism and good timing in this thread!!! I have a hard enough time predicting my ovulation so I'm not sure I'd be good at reading someone else's chart. I think I ovulated today but it's too soon to confirm. Once I've got crosshairs I'll post my chart.
I had two acupuncture appointments this week and I felt really good afterward. I hope it made a difference!
