I am almost out of my Tarte foundation, so now I have to find a new brand (fuck you, Tarte). I don't have time to get to a Sephora to check out Fenty Beauty before I leave town, so if anyone wants to recommend a similar one that can be picked up at Ulta, I'm all ears.
Lancôme Teinte Idole sounds like a perfect fit for what you're looking for, depending on their politics.
I got Botox today. 🙃 I've had it before but not in like 2 years. in the past, I've only done the frown lines between my brows. But I did a whole forehead workup today! I'm also coloring my hair today.
I really want a little Botox between my brows. This wrinkle from making my in-pain face just popped up within the last month and it's the first thing I see on my face now. How long does it last, 6 months or so?
Ulta's latest 5x point promotion pushed me over 2,000 points (thank you Neutrogena wipes and the Stila Lionfish eyeliner I abruptly used up this morning), which means my no-buy-except-HG-replacements streak is at an end. I need to catch up on this thread and the August/September/holiday ones to see what I've missed during my makeup shopping hiatus.

I'd also recommend Lancome Teint Idole. I've used the same Tarte foundation in the past, and I've switched to the Teint Idole recently. I like it -- I think the coverage isn't quite as heavy, but the Tarte always felt a bit heavy to me, so I'm happy.
calico, it was a Chi for Ulta model that was originally $100 marked down to $57.95- pink champagne or some other discontinued color/pattern. It was in store, but I don't see it on the website. My stylist says sometimes TJMaxx has decent "last year's color" models for cheap, too.

Why does Sephora not carry any of the Too Faced lipsticks?? I wanted to order the unicorn tears one and get free shipping along with their free sample of the day. Sephora is such a PITA.

I finally bought the KatVonD contour palette. I found it at TJMaxx for $22. I couldn’t resist the price! I was trying not to spend money on makeup this month, oops.
I feel like this belongs in a confessions post, but I bought the Jaclyn Hill palette from Morphe and I honestly love it. I have very similar coloring to her, and the shadows look really good on me. I've been doing some more creative looks lately and I'm having a lot of fun. The wear time is about 8 hours with primer and 5-6 without, I don't have a ton of fallout, and it travelled (in the car) decently well with me two weeks ago.
I am 34. I am way to old for this thing! Lol!
I'm older than you and I agree! I bought it at the last restocking and love it, that shimmer green is gorgeous. I've only owned one other morphe palette that I ended up tossing, the formula on this is definitely better.
I saw that is coming to Sephora soon, I'm going to have to try the exclusive palette they are getting.

I know some of you bought The Ordinary EUK and Resveratrol. Do you guys use it during the day or PM only?
I tried the Resveratrol last night and I loved how my skin looked and felt this morning. I thought I can use EUK during the day but it seems a bit oily and I'm not sure if my makeup will fare well if I do.

I hope to God Lancôme doesn't pull some nasty shit because the Teint Idole is my HG foundation, and I've switched from UD liners to their eyeliner because they have a pretty good range and they're nice and creamy.
"This prick is asking for someone here to bring him to task Somebody give me some dirt on this vacuous mass so we can at last unmask him I'll pull the trigger on it, someone load the gun and cock it While we were all watching, he got Washington in his pocket."

I need a rec for a micellar water- not Simple brand. I'm currently using and loving the Garnier pink top bottle and will be needing a new bottle in the next 2 weeks, but well...L'oreal.

Hit me with your best recs!
I love, love, love Bioderma. There are a few types for different skin types and yes, it's more expensive, but my sensitive skin loves it and it works a bit better than the others for me. I buy it in bulk on Amazon here in the UK so thinking it's possible on Amazon in US.

So It Cosmetics CC cream is the only thing I've been using as it works so well with my skin. Obviously due to the L'Oreal shit I can't buy another tube (the one I have is for summer and it's getting too dark). What should I look at. Reminder, I'm in the UK so things like Physician's Formula either won't be available or will cost me about 3-4x what it is in the US. I also cannot get to a Sephora or Ulta here as they don't exist. Yes, it's a pain, but at least I can get French stuff very easily.

I had a Groupon for 2 IPL appointments, and one was supposed to be yesterday. I read that you're supposed to stop any treatments a couple of days in advance, so I did, but my skin is still fairly dry right now. I went in and the technician was like, "No, we can't do this with your skin like this." LOL. She said she could do the treatment at the "low" setting but if I cut out all my acids/Differin, etc., for a few weeks, added some vitamin E oil to my routine, plenty of moisturizer, then she could do a really strong and effective treatment. So, we made an appointment for November! I'm just hoping my skin doesn't really break out, since the Differin has been really effective in getting it all under control.
Just earlier this week I was thinking- Man, I've made it 10 days into the month with no empties. Then yesterday I emptied 4 products in one day. I'll probably have at least 3 or 4 more by the weekend, too. The blush that will never die is still hanging on, much to my dismay.

I have one of these too. I've been wearing it nearly every day for a year and there's still blush in the pan. It's the edges, but still.

I'm trying to use up my Too Faced Hangover Rx and I don't understand why I stopped using it. I still prefer MAC Prep and Prime but Hangover Rx is legit face primer.
2curlydogs, YES! Same here, with both the wear and the remaining amount.
I'm getting so sick of this fucking color but at the same time, I can see the end of the tunnel (ish). For 3 months now I keep thinking- This is going to be the month I finally finish this damn blush. Nope, it keeps trucking on.
