I'm obsessed with finding a much cheaper color like this. It's Lancome in Rouge Flamboyant ($32). I love it so. Unfortunately, Temptalia and Dupethis don't yield any results.

The lorac mega pro 4 is on sale at ulta for $44, which is a great deal. When I went to pick it up today there was a random double sided Z palette with out the outer plastic wrapper. I figured it was an online return or something and asked how much it was. It had the magnets and paper work with it and they sold it to me for $20 even. No tax. It was so strange. I looked online and it's $45!
Biggest first world problem ever. I've been waiting for my birthday emails to splurge on some things at Ulta and now that I have them nothing is really standing out to me. I'll probably just end up buying skincare backups which feels totally boring lol.
The Ordinary Serum Foundation is a decent runner up for Teinte Idole. A little thinner, but the same kind of high pigmentation. For $6 you should give it a try. And as with Teinte Idole, I found it was very important to moisturizer before application.

Thank you for the tip. Can you remind me what your skin type/coloring is. Thank you!!'

I'm Anglo (white English/Irish ancestry), light-medium/medium skin tone, prone to ruddiness, pores bigger than I'd like on my cheeks, and combo skin (I'm 41, battling time but get the ocasional asshole zit before my period).
The colors are lighter than you'd expect and run more yellow. So I got the medium 2.1 with pink undertones and happened to be lucky in that it was a perfect match. I've been playing around with mixing it with moisturizers, to good effect. It's thinner than Teinte Idole, but same amount of coverage.
Also, $6. Estée Lauder has bought a minority share, which has caused some controversy, but TO is made in Canada and adamantly against animal testing.
Just got my first CYO lipstick at Walgreens yesterday. A gorgeous peachy red. I can't find any swatches online, but next time you're at Walgreens, check it out.
CYO is owned by Boots, and an ELF competitor (i.e. cheap AF). It bills itself as products you combine on your own, but the lipsticks were good to go.

Thank you, bluestreet! Sounds like we might be similar, although I do tend to run a little cooler - hopefully it will still work as a good match! I get ruddy too - stupid flushed skin. I'm excited to try this out!

I got a 20% off Ulta coupon today too - minimal restrictions. That's more than I got as a Platinum member. So much WTF.
What do I want??? An Anastasia pallette? A Lorac one? More MAC lipsticks? AB stuff? Holiday sets? I can't go too crazy. I'm really interested in some Fenty stuff (that I thought would be my next big purchase) but looks like that's going on the Christmas list instead.

I’ve been waiting for my 20% off coupon and now that it’s here, I don’t know what I should use my points for. There is nothing I need and I am pretty frustrated with the industry.

I'm using my 20% off coupon to buy gifts and stocking stuffers for Christmas. I know it's a little early, but it's nice to spread out the cost and I love being able to use a coupon to do it.
I cancelled my Sephora box a few days ago since I want to start paying attention to using the stuff I already have - but then this month's ending up being really good. Quite a few products I've been wanting to try. Urgh. Oh well, I'll get over it.

Loose translucent finishing/setting powder recs? I just used the last of the NYX powder I had. I am not going to repurchase. First, I bought it a few days before the L'oreal racism controversy and it's already gone; second, L'oreal. I also have the ELF one too, but I don't like it as much. I will use it in the meantime, but I wasn't going to repurchase. I've tried Tarte Smooth Operator in the past but I don't want to spend $$$.

It's not fancy but this is what my daughter and I use. It's cheap and works well for us. We are fairskinned. But I think it blends well and doesn't get cakey. Your mileage may vary.
minionkevin, I love Coty Airspun in translucent. It's cheap and works. I used to also love the Bare Minerals loose setting powder, but the last jar I got wasn't as light or translucent as they used to be. It looks orangey on me.

I really want to try the RCMA powder. Bonus - don't have to worry about a parent company.
I just tried the Boscia Luminizing Black Mask today and I love the way my skin looks and feels. Took my pores down to barely visible and my skin is so bright and soft. Will definitely buy the full size.

My favorite is MUFE. It's so finely milled and doesn't settle into my lines/wrinkles. Sadly, it's not cheap.

I had been using the coverfx one and like it, but $$$. I also just tried the new too faced peach one and it's really nice but $$$ too.

This is the one I use and I love it. Plus it lasts forever. I've had the same container for almost a year and it's still half full.

Today I tried a sample of the Fenty foundation and primer I got from Sephora. The color match was awesome but it totally settled into the lines around my eyes. It made them look way worse than when I’m wearing nothing. I was super disappointed after being so happy about the color. I noticed it after only about 30 minutes so it wasn’t like after a full day or anything. Maybe it would work bette with a different primer?

I definitely have to be super hydrated/moisturized to wear the Fenty, even when I do a super sheer layer.

Yesterday I popped into Sephora when I was getting groceries, and I put the pore-minimizing Smashbox primer and I felt like fucking Cinderella at ball, all backlit and lovely. Which sucks because it's $40. 😭

I bought the Coty today. Should be here Tuesday. Thanks!
