OCTOBER Randoms

i spent some time in sephora tonight looking at lots of the sets and swatching colors. i've crossed a bunch of things off my wishlist and got samples of two masks to try out to see if i want to buy them in the sale.

then i came home to my huge ulta box from my points-spending-spree. proceeded to swatch all that stuff and play with my new brushes.

all in all, it was a glorious makeup day!

Geek Chic came out with a Poltergeist themed shadow set and I feel like I NEED it because it's one of my favorite movies but I am not sure that I really need that many shades of blue.  I guess I could just get one or two but I really want the tin.

Lesson-learned: don’t try new eyeshadows out when you’re in a rush. ABH quad is awesome and pigmented like woah. Made a wee bit of a mess trying them out Saturday as I was rushing out the door. Thankfully very neutral set so I was able to salvage quickly.

I love them so much.  I haven't been able to find a dupe for them at all.  I'd say the results continue.

I tried to use up my Lancôme Advanced Genefique serum because I spent so much money on it and it dried up my face.

Went back to TO Buffet and my face improved within a couple of days. I am forever thankful to this board for introducing me to The Ordinary.

Has anyone found a dupe for StriVectin Multi-Action Restorative Cream Moisturizer? It does AMAZING things for my skin and a little goes a long way but it's $95 for a jar
