Favourite lip liner

I know many people don't use them but with age I'm finding them a bit more necessary with bright and dark colours. What are your favourite lip liners?

I like drugstore ones. I have had luck with NYX lip liners and Elf.

I have a few UD ones too that are pretty good but I can get 4 NYX lip liners for the price of 1 UD lip liner.

They are even better than the UD ones I have. It takes me forever to use up lip liners, so I've got a while to find a similar dupe.

I also have been happy with the Milani liners that I've purchased. Not as creamy or waterproof, but still very good.

NYX makes my favorite but I’m looking for a new brand. I also have ones from Mac that is good.

Milani makes a clear one I like. It’s not as creamy as UD’s clear lipliner but it’s pretty close.

Oh- that reminds me. I did not care for the ELF clear liner. It was waxy and not good.

I like the mini Sephora ones. They're really creamy and long-lasting.

I bought a set of the Ulta Automatic ones and they're pretty good. They don't last long as the Sephora ones though.

And yes, the clear Milani one is pretty good. Can't beat the price.

The Rimmel ones are ok. I'm not a frequent user but it seems to get the job done when I wear red.

FYI- There's a Bite Beauty lip pencil in the 100pt perk section on sephora.com. I've been curious about these, so I snagged one.

do report back with full review. While I love Bite, the staying power isn’t fabulous on their lipsticks, even matte, at least on me. I’m curious about their lip liners.

Well crap- they removed it from my order b/c they are out. Booo.

I dip the tip of a fine lip liner brush into my foundation, and go around the outside of my lips (mostly the bottom), after applying my lipstick. Kind of like reverse lip liner. Then I powder my lip line carefully. Works so much better than lip liner pencil.

Do you use clear lip liner on the inner edge of the lip or on the outer edge? Like, does the color get onto the lip liner or is the lip liner like a barrier that the lipstick butts up against?

I use it like regular liner. But I have seen/read about others doing the other way.
