It’s 4:30. I’m awake. To run 20+ miles. Half which in the dark. Because I love Julien Baker so much that I’m willing to drive 6.5 hours to see her after running 20+ miles.
Waking up in louisville. Planned to run along the river. But yeah no i forgot to pack sports bras. Sigh.
This is the worst.I ran in my normal bra before, it's not awesome but works. (I am not super endowed though)
34DD here. Theres no way. Should i see a place to buy one, i might so i can run monday morning. Im really annoyed at myself. I even remembered to bring my belt thing to hol my room key (which i always forget) AND i remembered a few times that i did need to pack them and just never did (i just washed all of them and they were hanging to dry in tbe shower i never use). Ugh.

I slept for 9 hours, unreal! Enjoying puppy snuggles, coffee and my book for a bit then headed to the lake for a girls weekend. Some kayaking and light hiking later. I love recovery weeks!
I'm up. Skipped my workout because I'm on my way to the airport. Should be in Louisville by 5 this evening. Basically I'm a crazy person so I don't need to work out anymore!

You guys! I broke my 10k PR from 2011 on a training run this morning! 😁
Everything I've changed about my training is working! I'm so flipping excited right now! My splits were negative with my first mile at 10:30 and my last mile at 8:30. I didn't set out to run fast this morning, but I was late getting out of the house, and I had to get DD2 to therapy at 10, so I started trucking. It actually felt effortless. I probably could have shaved even more time off, but I'll save that for another day.
I was gonna save my 15+ miler for tomorrow, but I changed my mind and am going to get it over with today instead. We have a babysitter tonight so I want to feel free to tie one on. Also I want to be able to track the Lou girls without interruption!
Back on home soil for a bit. Got a swim in at lunchtime. I’m slightly off pace (8secs too slow over the 400m distance) but still heading closer to goal. Feeling a bit annoyed about that, I went for a run. Tried running without socks for the first time ever. 5km in 21:38. The target I need to hit was 25:00, so I may have overshot a tad. First time I’ve run sub-7min miles for a while.
I’m back in the US next Saturday. DC from 21-28 Oct, then NY 28-3 Nov. Message me if you’d like to meet up!
