Yesterday was my first day back to work, it felt good. We were so busy that I didn't even have much time to think about DD and not being home.
As soon as I sat down at home I almost fell asleep. I quickly ate dinner and then I went to bed. I was exhausted.
@@@
I was worried about how DD would do with out me for so long. She seemed to do ok, until she heard my voice when I got home and then she had a melt down. She won't take a bottle so from 5:30am until 6:45pm she only had 2 oz of breast milk, and her solids . (And that was only from an open cup. As she can't figure out a sippy cup. So it's a long process to get the 2 oz in her.)

((Hugs)) awick14. I hope your DD starts taking in more milk soon. I know it can be a tough transition, especially with a bottle refuser. It's a good sign that she did so well with your DH though! I hope it only continues to get better!

*hugs* awick14, I'm sure things will get better for her in time! I wonder if the Munchkin 360 cup would work for her? E caught onto it right away and it's a good transition to a regular cup. E can use a regular cup now but we still use the 360 if he's not at the table so he doesn't spill it everywhere! I think there are other brands with similar cups too if you can't find or don't want that brand.

I've seen those cups but I haven't tried them yet. We just got given some different ones that we are trying but all she does is chew on everything. I can't get her to do the sucking motion on any bottle/cup/straw we've tried. But we will keep trying.

E had good luck with straw cups and liked those more than regular sippy cups but it's definitely hard for them to learn sometimes!
