12 yo boy - what about a hat/shirt for a local MLS team? 16 yo boy - some cool surfing sweatshirt? (I just got my nephew a t-shirt from our tiny local surf shop) 34 yo woman - an air plant in a cool glass container? FFIL - filters for his lenses, travel tripod, camera remote

for the woman who just bought a house - go on Etsy and get a personalized Christmas ornament with a picture of the house or a framed drawing of the house. Those are always hits for new home owners I know (and I got DH the drawing of our house when we moved in and he loves it!)

Father in law is letting us live with him rent free and not allowing us to contribute to any bills. We don’t have a lot but I want to give him something special.

Photo album? My sister and I did this for my mom. We made copies of photos from when she was a kid right up until we were grown and put them all in an album for her to flip through. She keeps it on the coffee table. It even has photos of my grandparents when they were younger. We left space to add special pictures, like the grandkids.
Mostly need ideas for my parents. Mom has no hobbies except shopping and is 75. Dad likes to golf and is 71. They both buy everything they want before we ever get the chance to buy for them.

For your dad, what about one of those golf swing analyzer things you can clip on your glove or club?

In this vein, one of those address stamps would be nice. I still haven't gotten one for our new house and I really want one. (Makes mental note to add this to my list for my mom/MIL.)
Dad who has all the tech stuff and is going through health issues.
Does Dad have Google Home or Alexa? My dad is legally blind and Google Home has been awesome for him - kind of gives him someone to talk to, but helps with some tasks that are hard for him.SaveSave

I DON’T think he has Alexa. That would be perfect. He’s got a Samsung phone and everything like hooked up through that. He’s amazing with it all. That’s a great idea. My sister will be the hardest. And mother but ugh.

Ugh, this sounds like my parents. I try to listen throughout the year to things my mom mentions. Pandora has a nice tree of life necklace that my mom mentioned.

Experience gift? Tickets to a local show or maybe a cooking class?

Mom mentioned a Pandora breast cancer bracelet to my sister, but I can't in a million years imagine her actually wearing it.
I got them both North Face jackets already because I know they love that kind of thing. I'll check out the necklace. She might actually like that!

Do you have a specific shop you use? I love this idea!

My sister. 30's, married, no kids, a basset hound that she loves, is an NP. My ideas so far are a massage gift certificate, but I did that last year and she didn't seem to love it. Or a cheese board like this, with some nice cheeses to go with it -
I don't know how much it would get used though. And it's another thing to be stored.
My dad. Retired, almost 60. DIY'er, already has tons of tools and gadgets. Watches too much court tv now that he's retired. Also big into tech/gadgets. He's gotten into his smoker this past year, and making lots of food with it. Outside often.

Anything I think of, he already has!
My Dad is big into smoking too! Last year for Fathers Day we went to Bass Pro and got him a big set of funky spices and bbq sauces, and these big meat claws for shredding pork. He absolutely loved it!

Different flavors of smoking chips. DH has a smoker and we're always using different flavors of chips/wood - it's amazing how different something tastes just on the flavor of the chip.
