Yummy sushi near Union Square in SF?

We are spending one night in SF en route to Napa & I have my heart set on sushi. We're staying near Union Square, but would be willing to go a little farther away for fab sushi & good atmosphere. It'll be a Wed night, if that makes any difference as far as crowds go. Recs?

This ended up being literally across the street from our hotel so we tried it. Good quality sushi & a cozy atmosphere. Thx for the rec!!

You can walk there (long walk up hill) or take the street car (stops in front of it), but Sushi Rapture on Washington & Leavenworth is my absolute favorite.
