I went to physical therapy yesterday and he told me I'm pretty close to being able to discharge. He did tell me to go ahead and start trying turns again! So I did some turns in dance last night, but I'm at the single and 1.5 level, though I want to try more. My legs are also really tired from tap and jazz last night. But I feel like I'm starting to get better at picking up choreography again, too.

Quick vent: I love my boss 99% of the time. But she has a bad habit of skimming emails and then responding to me when she is in the wrong. Today the COO's admin emails me, asking me to send a meeting invite to the COO. I was told I was not attending the meeting. So I respond, CC boss and just state I do not have a meeting invite as I was not attending. Boss then emails me and states the meeting is set up, and that Admin was just letting us know, so no need to respond. Um. The email CLEARLY states "Please send this meeting invite to COO."
I know it's small potatoes, but I hate looking "bad" in front of my boss when it's not the case!

TGIFFFF. Nothing much planned for this weekend. P finished painting the great room so we will hang the new curtain rods, clean and put the room back together. Yahoo! We are also meeting with the designer to try and finalize a plan for the bedroom.
Flying home today and can’t wait to get there so I can search for my jewelry. If it’s not there I think I’m going to be sick.
I was supposed to have to travel on Monday. I’m so glad it got postponed to the following week. My family is coming to town for the holiday starting Wednesday and I’ve done exactly nothing to prepare. Im really excited to plan my tablescape. I’ve got an idea of what I want it to look like and now I just need to execute. I also need to buy a tv for the guest room. My grandma is staying with me and I know she’ll want one in there.
Sunday I’m meeting some friends for brunch to celebrate a girlfriend’s bday. I said I’d pick up balloons. Just need to figure out where to get them.
Some family drama: last night one of my cousins sent out an email to the entire family shaming my mom and dad for tearing the family apart.
They have taken on most of the responsibility for caring for my aunt, whose health has been rapidly declining in the last year (physical and metal). My mom has been upset that the other siblings in their family have not been helping as much... in particular, this cousin's dad. In fact, he's been openly avoiding helping out and only seems to care about my aunt's hunting land and whether he can use it or not. Anyway.
The email was not pretty. It was obviously looking to pick a fight, not to patch things up. My mom told me not to retaliate and send anything back, that she would handle it.
Obviously the family will be split for thanksgiving this year. She is not ready to forgive yet. I don't blame her. Her brother has been an ass.
This weekend bf and I are going to test out a low sugar pumpkin cheesecake recipe for next week, and go to Justice League! On Sunday we're going to a college basketball game with my dad and uncle. The rest of the time will be relaxing, and laundry.

gault, report back on JL I have heard a lot of not so good things. I am sorry that your uncle is a jerkface.
Tonight I have a surprise party for a friend. She's going to pee her pants twice tonight- once when she comes in the house and the second time will be when she sees all of the cheese we got her.
I have some race shirts to pick up. Am I terrible for signing up for the usual turkey trot 8k I run every year even though I've committed to a local friend's 5k turkey run? I'm going to run the 8k route tomorrow after I get my shirt so I not feel guilty about getting the shirt for no purpose. I've run this race for almost a decade and their long sleeved running shirts are so nice.
I'm supposed to run a SPCA 5k with Buddy on Sunday, it's our tradition every year. He's been so sick in his stomach for two weeks + though, I finally figured out it's his kibble after many attempts at a chicken and rice diet and then back to kibble switch. I don't even know if he's up to walking the whole 5k route so I may just bring him depending on how he is feeling that morning and grab the quick pic with the celebrity santa. Am I a race cheat this year? Oops.
Other than that, unpacking and a lot of sleeping is on tap for me.
gault, that is INSANE. Ugh. I am sorry your uncle and your cousin are being such jerks. I can't blame your mom for not feeling ready to forgive. I would need some space for a while.
This weekend will be fairly busy. I have to run a few errands tonight, and then tomorrow morning the Santa Claus parade is happening in our town. It feels waaaaaaay too early for that, in my opinion, but, well that's when it is, so we're going! On Sunday, H and I will be taking A and G (the daughters from our sponsored family) to a basketball game! We're all really looking forward to it.
