Anyone besides me working? 


OK, ok, I'm "working". Very few people are in the office today, so I'm eating leftover pecan pie with my coffee and am taking it pretty easy. 

I am probably going to blow off work a bit early today AND GO SEE MY NEW HORSE. For those I don't know on FB, "Owen" came home on Tuesday after passing his vet exam with flying colors (Actually, what the vet said was "If you don't buy this horse, I will!"). Although he's a monster compared to nimble little Larry, somehow all my tack fits him just fine. Not that I've had time to ride him yet, but that's on deck for today

I'm not working today, but I'm already trying to mentally prepare for going back to work on Monday. This morning I'm hoping to have a piece of the apple pie I made yesterday that we didn't eat yet. Other than that, I'm looking forward to finishing my laundry and spending time with my parents.

At home with coffee and fixer upper, watching carmen stalk the squirrels outside. It's been lovely.

Tonight or tomorrow we'll get out our Christmas decor (very minimal but I like it) and maybe try for justice League again. We missed it last weekend.

Sunday I have a mom day. We're going to see the orchestra play the score for Little Mermaid while it's projected behind them, and get dinner afterwards!

We went out and got our Xmas tree. It’s not as big as I hoped, but taking care of Buddy was the priority for this week (and month it’ll take me to pay the bill). It still looks great by the bay window!

Buddy is doing great, he feels so good and wants to run (!) and play now so I am trying to keep him quiet. This is on a LOT of pain meds too that should zonk him out. I can’t imagine how awful he felt before this surgery. The vet sent me a picture of the spleen after removal and holy smokes. I’m having some anxiety about the biopsy results, but trying to remain positive.

I am working today. I have to work 4 hours of OT today because I can't work tomorrow. I am also fighting off whatever crud the kids have, so yay?

Tomorrow is the big performance, I'm super excited about it but really nervous too.

Working at the part-time job tonight. Today is hanging out with the dogs, a Target run (one thing turned into a hundred dollars and multiple items).

Looking forward to free pizza at work tonight.

Tomorrow I'll have to get some work done for my main job before going in to close again.

Thankful for a nice weather day.
