8 don’t use their products, but think I’ll consider it now!
Starting Dec. 20 according to Beauty News (if you don't watch it, you should. Unless you don't like salty language, because they are Australian and according to my research, from watching Australian shows and having one Australian friend, swearing is like breathing. Watch it anyway.)
I am looking forward to it, I am still disappointed by my visit to the DECIEM store in London, they had no foundations, but I did get to colormatch at least. They didn't even have the AHA peel I wanted in stock. I did get a tiny metal NIOD spoon though, handy little thing.
P.S. I got an Anastasia Dip Brow Pomade sample in a Sephora box yesterday. Holy. Crap. All too dark for me but that stuff is pretty damn easy to work with and goes really far. I don't usually do my brows but I might look for a lighter color and give it a shot in store. Shame the sample is too dark, it came with 4 colors and a ton of product, probably 2 months worth in each color pot if you go light.

Thanks for the recommendation, I will definitely check out Beauty News! I appreciate well used salty language.
I have a love hate relationship with the Dip Brow. I use it consistently, love it at first, then start to use pencils or other things, and when I come back to the Dip Brow, fall in love all over again, cycle repeats!

I finally gave up and threw away my Naked 2 last night. Every time I wear it, my eyes start to itch/burn about 2 hours later. I got a solid few years out of it, and hit pan on I think 8 of 12 colors, so I'm calling it a success
Now I also will feel less guilty about buying a new pallet even though I don't need it

Smashbox Ombré Lipstick - it’s really ombre first application and then throughout wear it tends to blend together. Staying power is decent and feels nice. I wouldn’t go out of my way to purchase but I like the berry one. They have a super crazy one that is called rainbow I think? I’m not sure how that would do given how it blends throughout wear.
I now have two 20% off coupons from Ulta. Post-Thanksgiving sales must be down compared to last year.
Maybe, but they did have several 20% off coupons this time last year too. I had at least two around this time and then another one before Christmas as well.

Dammit Sephora. I ordered a bunch of stuff on the 2nd to be delivered to my parent's house. As of yesterday, it hadn't arrived so I went online to check on the order - it says STATUS: Unsuccessful Authorization, and everything has been cancelled - no email to me, no contact, no clue as to WHY? And my paypal account has a pending cost from Sephora. There aren't any near me so if I re-order and get doubles somehow I don't want to have to return it all. ARGH! I'll have to find time to call them during their business hours, which is a pain when you live overseas.

This just happened to me! I emailed them and first got a copy/ paste reply that they are busy for the holidays etc. I wrote back and said since I have Flash, this should not be the case. Then they claimed my address does not match the one on my credit card. Um, 1) I have lived at the same address for 9 years 2) I use the same card all the time 3) I had just placed other orders on the same card that shipped fine.
I let it go because I was having buyer's remorse anyway, but otherwise I would have raised hell.
And over the weekend I had lunch with a friend who told me this same thing has happened to her FIVE TIMES.
Sounds like Sephora is having computer glitches...
So I grabbed the Tom Form lipstick point perk because I always see good reviews of the formula and nope not impressed. The color is gorgeous but the wear time is super short. It wears off within an hour and I'm not even eating or drinking anything. Plus it's a bit drying. Sooo not worth that price tag lol.

Which brands showed their racist ass this year? I'm going to be using one of my 20% Ulta coupons for my BFFs stocking stuffers but have lost track of who to avoid. Tarte I remember.

Loreal brands (UD and IT are the ones I remember because they were my favorite).
Hi - I don't go here and am pretty makeup illiterate when it comes down to it. But when I was getting ready this AM I found product I had forgotten I have - the Burberry Fresh Glow Fluid Base. I bought it a year + ago but never opened it - I assume that it's still OK to use because of that?
And do I use this over or under my moisturizer? (I warned you I was makeup illiterate )
raangoli , over. It's like a glowy primer, if I'm thinking of the right product. I have this too but haven't used it yet, so report back!
Yes, that is what it is. I was confused because the video said to use it under your moisturizer and I was like...but that makes no sense and seems to defeat the purpose?
I had a MUA use it on me which is why I bought it. I do not wear a lot of makeup but it was just the right amount of something to not look completely plain IMO.
2curlydogs- Tarte, the Loreal brands (which is ridiculously expansive and I can't keep up, so I've been checking Wikipedia every time I go to buy something). I also heard something about Nivea, Colourpop, and Dove.

this one is a good mix in. It’s sort of subtle for all over too. Yes totally fine to use it.

I posted about this in my Dyson post, but I really love my new dryer! It's so fantastic! I love how light it is, how it dries my hair just as fast without making me a sweaty mess, and I love the magnetic nozzles, too.
HOWEVER, my favorite thing about it is the way it makes my hair feel. There's something about it that makes my hair more bouncy and clean-feeling. It's hard to describe, but usually my hair only feels this way when I leave a salon. Like, because I have such straight, heavy hair, when I dry it at home it loses its oomph pretty quickly. My hair feels more light and voluminous around my scalp. I'm not sure if this is because it's not as hot, so my scalp is less likely to feel sweaty or what. It also feels beyond smooth.
I also timed drying my hair and it took 12 minutes today. I have about twice as much hair as a lot of people (according to my stylist), so that's pretty awesome!

I have absolutely no business even looking at another eyeshadow palette but the TF Chocolate Gold is so freaking pretty. They’re still safe correct?
I bought a small UD troublemaker mascara before L’Oréal decided to be assholes. I’m not impressed. Same brush as They’re Real, which just doesn’t do it for me. The claims and the name are so misleading.
