Hi. I'm about 4.5 mos into our decision to get divorced. I'm part of the Working Parents community that recently moved over here, but find that "getting divorced" is pretty much all I do right now. Is anybody still active here?

I think there are others who do the same, based on the last thread that I started.

Yeah getting a divorce is something that will take a lot of your time and attention. The decisions you make now will have consequences for a long time. It’s like having another job on top of being a parent and having paid work. I actually tried looking for work when I first got back to the states after my separation, and realized pretty quickly that I was too much in crisis mode to be a good employee. I decided it would be better for me to stop interviewing before I damaged my professional reputation. I hope your workplace is being supportive and understanding about what you are going through.
