So I reached out to PC customer service and told them I wanted some recs for a novice skincare routine. Currently all I use are Differin gel and CeraVe in the tub in the AM and I wash with Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Face Wash AM and PM. I also use a 15% AHA by DCL at night on my face and chest. I have hyper pigmentation on my cheeks from acne scars and would like to improve the overall tone of my skin and prevent aging. My skin leans toward normal/dry. PC recommended the following. Is there anything else I should add/take away? I should also add that I am prone to cystic acne with no known cause and Differin has really helped; they said I could continue with the Differin.
AM 1. Cleanse with RESIST Optimal Results Hydrating Cleanser 2. Tone with RESIST Advanced Replenishing Toner 3. Exfoliate with SKIN PERFECTING 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant 4. Apply RESIST Brightening Essence 5. Moisturize and protect with RESIST Skin Restoring Moisturizer SPF 50
PM 1. Cleanse 2. Tone 3. Exfoliate 4. Apply Essence 5. Apply RESIST Barrier Repair Moisturizer with Retinol
That looks like a pretty good basic routine. I'd contact them and ask if they know at what point you should be applying the Diferin gel. I think for a novice routine, this is good. I also use one of the antioxidant serums, but for the results you want the brightening essence seems like a good thing to try out.
If you want to try those products, 3 of them are in a travel kit PC sells, but you'd need to get the toner and the brightening essence separately. I LOVE the toner. Even though the barrier repair moisturizer isn't hydrating enough for me, I still like it and have recommended it to several friends who like it also. It does have a little retinol in it.

Thank you! I do need to figure out where to add in the Differin. I also want to continue the CeraVe because I love it and it’s super hydrating so I’m thinking I can still do that at night after everything else.

Thanks for the tip! I was hoping everything would be in one of their kits but the travel kit will work!

That's if you just want minis to try. You can order full sized products, they tend to be really responsive to customers if there are any problems.
