Meaning, are you taking supplements, changing your diet, doing acupuncture, something more than just having sex and hoping for the best?
I read It Starts With The Egg and it made me realize I'm probably not doing myself any favors with my current habits, so I'm trying to cut back on sugar, carbs and alcohol. I just cannot kick my latte habit yet though. I've thrown out our plastics and am working to use glass or stainless steel for food storage and cooking. I am, somewhat embarrassingly, avoiding receipts due to the BPA as well as plastics with BPA. I ordered new organic, no phthalate hair and face products and am taking CoQ10, Vitamin D, Omega 3 as well as my prenatal and will start DHEA when it gets here today. I started going to the chiropractor this week because I read it can help with fertility and may start doing acupuncture after the holidays. DH is trying to kick his Diet Coke habit, cut back on alcohol, and is taking supplements as well. Trying to get pregnant is a lot of work!
- timed sex. OPKS/CM with now only intermittent temping - pre-seed and soft cups for sex - vitamin B injections, vitamin D 2000 IU, prenatal, additional folic acid (all per doctor orders given Crohn’s) - fertility acupuncture started this week with traditional Chinese medicine clinic - exercise at least 3X week - limiting alcohol and caffeine, though I have abstained from neither - once monthly massage for stress relief
In addition, DH has started taking a daily multivitamin and is reducing caffeine and upping water. He now sleeps with just shorts instead of boxer briefs and is limiting laptop on his lap time. I wanted him to reduce travel but it’s not an option with his work.

When we were actively trying: *IUI with donor sperm, letrozole, trigger shot *prenatal vitamin *Pom juice CD1-ovulation (mostly for superstition) *no alchol or coffee (I don’t typically do much of either so decided just to go cold turkey)
seeyalater52, what’s the Pom juice? I haven’t heard of that one.
Pomegranate juice is supposed to help thicken uterine lining. I have no actual evidence that it works but in doing monitored cycles my lining has looked good and my periods have gotten heavier in cycles where I drink it.
You’re supposed to drink 8oz a day, CD1 - ovulation. The real Pom juice, not a pomegranate cocktail.
So far I’ve only done one session. Psychologically I think it will help me with the TTC process; I’ll report back if I notice any physical changes (shortened cycles or hopefully BFP!)
