I'm up late so decided to get a jump on it

I really like this stuff. It’s just a sugar scrub but smells/tastes good and works well.

Not only is our beloved Miracle Rose Cleansing Stick vanished and possibly discontinued, so is my beloved Miss Flower/Mr. Honey hydrogel masks— AND my beloved Lush Turkish Delight Shower Smoothie is *officially* discontinued!    My skin is having a very hard time with these mounting disappointments.

I am going to use my palettes more from now on. I neglected them to use my singles (and still haven’t used those jerks up either).  Must give palettes love. Must not buy more. I need to freaking use SOMETHING up at some point in my life.

Last month there was an Ulta 20% off hair tools including Dyson. I used it for the Dyson but then someone said their email also gave them 5x points with it in the same email.  I didn’t have that offer in the email but the other day I emailed Ulta to get the 5x points and guess what— they gave it to me that same day, over 1600 points! So that Dyson drier, after 20% and 1600 points, was only 225.  

Now here’s the confession: I haven’t used it yet (lol) because I was going to return it if I couldn’t get the 5x points.

I’ve got a 2018 resolution to stop wearing my hair up so much (ponytail is my go-to at least 5 Days a week and it’s killing my hair) and to take anti-aging seriously. I’m trying the strivectin line; we’ll see how it goes.

I need to order new foundation. EL Double Wear Light was my go to for years, but my skin has changed. It tends to be more dry now, so I need to find something different.

Has anyone tried the Target hybrid gel foundation?

Can anyone comment on the Costco shampoo that is supposed to be like Pureology vs actual Pureology? I use the deep conditioner from Pureology and it’s amazing. I got the costco stuff and it’s pretty good. But Ulta has 5x on Pureology and 5x for platinum and the liters are on sale.

People swear it's the same thing. It's not. I've had both in my shower at the same time and the Costco stuff is no where near as good as Pureology, at least on my hair. Plus theirs has a super strong perfume smell.

Did you mean Tarte? I have it and it's ok. It can look cakey if I use too much and the jar it's in gets annoying.

Oops, yes! A lot of the reviews mentioned it could be cakey too, bummer. I like the idea of a fuller coverage hydrating foundation.

Yeah it isn't very hydrating feeling ether. Try Josie Maran Vibrancy. It feels amazing and the argon oil in it is super moisturizing throughout the day. It's more medium to full coverage.

Is it bad that one of my New Year's resolution is to wear less makeup?

Hear me out though: I want to keep improving my skin so I won't have to wear full-coverage foundation. I used to be a skin-picker and I had scars all over my chin. I've been doing well with keeping my hands off of my face and The Ordinary is such a life-saver.

I went crazy lip heavy with my list lol. But I have a few lipsticks that are starting to get old and I don't want to just throw them away. I'm also attempting to pan my Shaaanxo lip palette and the 2 lip pans in my In TheBalm of Your Hand palette. Yolo lol

I got a sample of Tatcha water cream and La Mer eye concentrate when I bought stuff from Sephora in November. I absolutely loved them so went to look up the price of the items. Omg, why are they so expensive?! The tatcha is $82 and la mer is $255. Wtf.

This I now have learned. I can’t justify the La Mer but I’ll maybe get the Tatcha when the next Sephora sale is on.
