I’m doing ok. BF on the other hand is struggling. With some unfortunate post-divorce finance stress and class (calculus) starting this week, he’s on edge so the carb detox plus no wine didn’t go well. Then tonight he had to stay at his house because he left his calculator there and needed it did homework and has no compliant food in his house. So basically back to day 1 for him. Sigh. He was happy though that our go to weekend relax meal of smoked brisket and slaw is totally compliant.
I did make some really awesome compliant beef jerky with coconut aminos. And I’m drying apples tomorrow so we can pack snacks for an upcoming trip.
The BBQ sauce recipe with sweet potato in the W30 cookbook is crap. Don’t try it. It tastes ok, but not if you’re wanting BBQ sauce.
I don’t have my lunch packed for tomorrow so I need to figure that out still. Sad how my fridge is packed to the gills and I can’t figure out what to eat. Doesn’t help though that there are 4 huge heads of cabbage in there (somehow got 2 red/2 green ordered in my Walmart pickup).

It can definitely be a struggle. I disagree with their concept that you have to start again if you mess up but I know that's the rules. Good for you for keeping at it! I saw a great recipe for green and red cabbage under a flank steak- it was on The Chew. I want to make it this weekend. It looked super easy. I just started this week so I am feeling ok so far. I am already tired of all of the cooking! haha.
We are now on day 12, and it’s going good so far, but MH had a business conference next week and is gone for 4 days. These conferences are basically an excuse for the whole company to drink together, so I don’t think he’ll go the whole time without drinking. We will see. The only thing so far that I have had a hard time with is all the cooking! I got tired of that really quickly!
