Hey sweetie, I saw your thread on TB. All law enforcement agencies will do what's called an "Are You OK?" patrol or a "Welfare Check". I didn't get to read it all, but did y'all finally make contact?

Not yet. I've got a call into "A Place for Mom" and will see if they can help me figure out what to do from here. I'm hoping my dad will be cooperative and help decide where he goes/what he does. He just can't live alone anymore. I've been denial about this for a few years. It's the money aspect that scares the shit out of me but where there is a will there is a way. He's just not in his right mind anymore and it's really sad to feel so helpless. Getting old sucks.

Thanks! I will check into any resources that will help. This whole situation just sucks. My poor H is so naive and has never dealt with sickness, people getting old, or dying. He was around when my mom died but he's shell shocked. He's trying so hard to be supportive.
