my clarisonic won't charge at all. It looks like it was fully charged but when I turn it on it dies immediately. It was purchased from Nordstrom probably a little over a year and half ago. They no longer carry Clarisonic. Will Clarisonic directly replace it or am I SOL?

IIRC, Clarisonic was bought out by a company that has some shady customer service and warranty issues. I dealt with them a few times, I think once before they were taken over, and two more times. The first time, Clarisonic replaced the handle no problem. The 2nd time I had to buy it, but at a discount and the last time they did nothing. And that one didn't last long at all, and had crap oozing out of it.
I ended up buying something similar from Amazon for $40 with great reviews, and it has been at least a year and served me well!
You can probably find it, but if you need, I can find the link tomorrow.
This is what I got to replace my Clarisonic. I bought it in July, thought I had it longer. So far, so good on working properly. As for skincare, it seems the same as my clarisonic Pro, which was something like $300. It is slightly smaller in surface area, which I thought would bother me but it does not. It's still $40, but looks like there is a $5 coupon with it now, too.

I just had to replace a Clarisonic Mia that I had for less than a year under warranty and it was easy. All they needed on the phone was the date of purchase and the manufacturer's number on the Clarisonic. Also, you can always return it to Nordstrom and get a refund no matter how long ago it was if Clarisonic gives you trouble. The standard Clarisonic warranty on a Mia is 2 years so you are not screwed.
