H is off this week which is AWESOME! (If you didn't see it in the @ randoms a couple weeks ago, he was able to take another week unpaid leave) I'm loving it and hope we can get a few things done.

We got a new tabletop game I've been obsessed with. We'll probably play again tonight. I haven't won yet and I want to! Lol

My dryer started making a horrible squeaking sound when running yesterday. I hope DH can fix it.

Update on the Lively bras I ordered, since they finally arrived on the 19th:

Suuuuuuper soft and super comfy.

This one is my favorite. I ordered a S because I was worried about cup size, but I kind of wish I had ordered an XS because the band is a bit loose and there seems to be plenty of room in the cups.

This one is a close second. The band is definitely a better fit, even though it's also a S. It's a little bit less cozy because of the regular bra style straps, but that's also a bonus because it's easier to hide under regular clothes.

I really want to like this one. It fits perfectly in the band and the cups, and it's super cute. Unfortunately, there's a seam that sticks out in the middle of the cup that is clearly visible through a shirt. I'm still keeping it, but I definitely won't be wearing it outside of the house.

Overall, they're better than I expected them to be. They provide a decent amount of support, enough that I'm definitely keeping them to wear around the house. I won't be replacing all of my regular bras or anything, but I will definitely get a lot of use out of these.

ewall It's called Splendor. H has been wanting it and we finally played it at our friend's the other night. It works as a 2 player game so we got it and played last night. It's pretty easy to learn too!

I'll have to check out those bras, katespade. I just treated myself to a new bra today and a new pair of Birkenstocks for summer.

Today I went to IKEA which is always a fun treat, but so hard not to spend a thousand dollars. lol. They arrange everything so beautifully I feel like I *need* new collanders and spoons, and need new sheets, and need new pillows... and I don't need any of that! lol. I managed to escape with only about 10 items not on the list, but the worst part is that I left a box there at the checkout so now I have to drive an hour back to get it Grrr....

katespade Awesome to hear. I may try one or two. I only have two bras that fit currently, and they're both dark so it's hard to keep a clean one in rotation. How is nipple coverage? I need thick enough padding that they don't show through, which happens with me in a lot of demi bras.

ewall Eeekk... Did you know they were serious, or is the whole thing just a shock all around?

ewall My inlaws have splendor. I haven't played it, but I've seen it played a bunch by others. They seem to like it too.

Today- DH’s grandma’s funeral. Overall, it was a good day and I am glad we all went so I could be there for DH.

Tuesday: run and then ILs are visiting.

No real plans the rest of the week except to run and do normal chores. DH goes back to work Wednesday and will be working long hours the rest of the week.

I am sure we will watch the Super Bowl, hopefully at home so we can actually “watch” it vs DH BFF party where we never end up watching the game (although it’s fun as well).

Just same ole same ole here this week. I have a chiropractor appointment tomorrow. That's alaways nice!

We are enjoying a relaxing week at the ILs. Today DH is taking me to a spring to see the Manatees. I’m so excited! We are also going to his cousin’s shop so I can finally meet her.

We have plans to go to St. Augustine tomorrow to go wine tasting, to a distillery and shopping.

Thursday we are meeting with a friend and spending the day with him. Originally it was suppose to be a boys day but now it’s an everyone day.

Saturday we go to the Kennedy space center then Disney!!!

I haven't heard back from the company about that job yet. I know he's probably working on a job description/contract and such but part of me is wondering if he changed his mind.

amaranth - I would say they have about the same amount of nipple coverage as an unpadded sports bra. I have the same problem you do, and for me it's not quite enough coverage to wear with a thin or tight top over them, but it would be plenty over a thicker top or a sweater or something.

I'm still waiting to hear back on an interview from mid-December. He said it would probably be mid-January or so before he got back to me, but that time has come and gone with no contact. The job is still posted, but I'm kind of assuming he isn't interested at this point.

bk1 - Washer/dryer issues are AWFUL! Our washer is 20+ years old, and I'm dreading the day it finally breaks in an un-fixable way. I hope your H is able to fix your dryer!

I finally ordered new dining chairs, and a kitchen table. I had the chairs picked out long ago, but was hesitant to spend the money right before the holidays. And I've been hemming and hawing over picking a kitchen table for months because I couldn't find one to meet certain specifications. Finally I said screw it and picked one. I ordered from Wayfair, so here's hoping it goes well. I haven't seen these in person! The reviews for the chairs and the table are all positive and I like the reviewer pictures.

ewall- I hope your brother is at least smart enough to use protection.

amaranth- that sucks. But yay for ikea! The town we are in now has an ikea... its dangerous.

I have nothing fun going on until Saturday. H's grandpa died Saturday- tomorrow is the wake, Thurs is the funeral .

Friday I work. Saturday morning is music play class for C and then in the afternoon we're going to my parents for my brother's birthday. Sunday morning we have C's 3 year pictures!

I got through to my dad! He told me this morning that he has an appointment with the neurologist in a couple weeks to evaluate for possible Parkinson's. Yay!
