Our water heater is out. We get, at best, lukewarm water. Ugh, today of all days, when I really need to be clean and DH has a big launch with his company. We have the home warranty people coming, but still.

Thank goodness I can walk 2 doors down to BIL's house and use their shower.

And my little dog puked 6 times yesterday. No puke overnight though. She got canned pumpkin for breakfast. Please please please don't be getting sick!

katespade - Ha, no, I actually had to look it up! I guess because he didn't live where it was cold? My mom would put on a really soft scrunchie when he was drinking water sometimes so his ears wouldn't get crunchy, though.

I can not wake up today. I had 3 cups of coffee and made a decaf iced coffee and I still want to take a nap.

My transfer is done! We transferred one embryo, and the other is still frozen! I'm just laying on the bed waiting to be allowed up. Beta is scheduled for Fri Feb 16, although I'm sure I'll poas before then.

Routine hematology appt today, apparently I have low B12. So I get to go in on Thursday to learn how to give myself daily shots. Needles. Hahaha *sob*

So, in summary, going to buy myself something fancy because retail therapy seems appropriate.

I'm not sure... I work Feb 13 and 14, which will be 7 and 8 days, respectively, since transfer. I got my BFP 7 days past transfer last time. I kind of want to test the morning of the 14th, and if positive, then leave the test in a card for DH, but I wouldn't be able to hide my excitement at work that night. Hell, I probably wouldn't be able to sleep all day either, ha.

We are having a great vacation! Perfect amount of family time and more “us” time. Actually we have been mainly doing stuff alone and a few meals together. We have 2 days left in Disney then a day at the ILs before the long drive home.

I have a neighbor behind us who still has their Christmas lights on 24/7. Of course I keep thinking something bad happened to them (because it's Feb and that's weird, right?)

HoneySpider we finally saw them come home last Sunday. They're alive, and now gone on another trip. They clearly saved for retirement the right way. Lol. A house in Michigan, condos in FL and Hawaii.

I was cooking a new recipe tonight and it had me put my skillet in the oven. I've never done that - which I was reminded of when I grabbed the handle to move the skillet after it had been in the oven. Ouch!

The last few days have been so busy. We drove this afternoon to our hometown for my holidays. (We will be here until feb 18th.) I’m exhausted now, and I can’t sleep. Urg

We are driving home from Florida. We left yesterday afternoon and stopped half way for the night. We are stopping at 3-4 wineries that we didn’t hit on our way down. Half of our car is packed with bottles of wine lol.
