all of the HP books anything by John Steinbeck anything by Stephen King The Help Dante's Divine Comedy The Great Gatsby Lamb by Christopher Moore Sherlock Holmes I'm sure I'm forgetting a bunch. I love reading.
I also have a couple of books about dogs I love, and some historical account type books that are so fascinating to me, but they aren't mainstream popular or anything.
Oh this one is faboo! So is his book on Nicolas and Alexandra.
I read one about two years ago about the Tudors that I found incredibly fascinating, especially when it started to discuss the effects of the destruction of the Catholic church and the emergence of the Protestant work ethic on the English people. It really had me when it started to explain why Elizabeth was such a sucktacular queen. I was all ooooooooooooooo!
I wish I could remember what it was called. I have it somewhere. Damn if I know where that is. Don't tell the library.
Oh, and I also really loved The Other Boleyn Girl.
ARRRGGGHHH!!! :head explodes:
I kid, eb. Actually, have you read The Boleyn Inheritance? If you liked TOBG, you would probably like that as well. Even tho I wanna punch Gregory in the face. Sigh.
Why do you want to punch her?
Some of my favorites are The Lotus Eaters, A Thread of Grace, Here on Earth, One True Thing, City of Light, The Last Time They Met, State of Wonder, and The Witching Hour.
I also loved Rebecca, The Secret History, Pillars of Earth, and The Lovely Bones which I saw pp mention.
Middlesex Snow To Kill A Mockingbird - cliched but true, loved it Anything Edgar Allan Poe Anna Karenina Holes Angela's Ashes White Oleander Faith The Condition

You know, I'm trying to work my way through the HP series since they're free on Amazon Prime, but I just can't seem to get into it. Will I start to give a shit about Harry at some point? I'm halfway through the first one.

Haha. I just saw this. It annoys her that The Other Boleyn girl is fiction. And nic, I'll check that out, thanks!

I love the entire HP series, but the first two books are my least favorite. I think they start getting really good by the third.
That's good to know, snickerdoodle. Maybe I'll keep plowing through. Since I'm a proper ML'er, I'll probably be to the third book by Friday at the latest. :-)
05- The story gets much more dark and complex, so if you're not feeling it because it seems too much like a children's book (I'm not knocking children's books) I suggest pushing through if you're not too bored with it
