Congrats on the house, HoneySpider! Hope you and your little guy are feeling better!
pooh8402 that is so sad about all those lost jobs. I am afraid L&D is going to close at my hospital too. The peds department already closed and the sister hospital has a brand new women's and children's hospital, so Inthink they're sending everyone there.
We closed on our first house, which we'd been renting out! We officially own only one house, and I am SO RELIEVED. I am going to try not to think of how much it cost to sell it and just keep reminding myself that it's over!
HoneySpider I actually wrote a letter to our USPS delivery guy...asking for a truce while I Was on maternity leave. We've had all KINDS of crap go down. Of course, he left a package (immediately after that) in the middle of our driveway where our dogs peed on it. So, I'm not exactly sure the truce letter worked. But things have been much better after I called the supervisor!

MrsMB, oh my goodness! Our guy has actually been pretty good so I was surprised to be having an issue. I finally got a hold of the supervisor on the phone this morning who then talked to the carrier and told me the carrier wasn't aware of the forward but would start pulling the mail. i'm guessing the carrier might never have been told. So, hopefully that fixes things on this end. I still haven't gotten anything at the new house, obviously not much would come yet but I was expecting a few things (sent directly, not forwarded) so I left a note on my mailbox with our names asking them to deliver. They did deliver a package for me earlier in the week though so FX.

H had a surprise phone interview yesterday. He called to set a time to do one and they asked if he could do it right then. H thinks it went well. They want to meet him in person so he’s planning on heading down to Florida in a few weeks.
I went through my dresser today and tossed a bag of old clothes and filled another bag to donate. Next to tackle the closet and shoes.

My mom just turned 69 and just told me she wants to get a tattoo on her forearm. I’m excited! She has one but she got that 24 years ago. I think it’s funny since I got yelled at by her when I got my first 2 (I was over 18 when I got them) and people don’t even know I have them. She just saw my new one that is visible and loved it.

It’s been a good day (minus all of us fighting a cold)! Fun at preschool (chapel and parade), was able to go to Old Navy and buy some clothes with just L, got some walking in, House is getting cleaned today (just need to vacuum in a little bit), and I hung up a picture project I did about a month ago!
estrellita We got our tax refund this week too! I put the money aside because we are hoping to buy my mom's car from her as a commuter car for DH but with my grandma in the hospital it's all put on hold. If it ends up working we'll be able to write her a check and outright buy it instead of taking on a new car payment.
I had a big margarita last night with dinner, but drank most of it before the food came. I was so hungover this morning. And I definitely must be getting old that only one margarita does that to me now.

We owed, too.
We were out to dinner last night, and the guy next to us left at least half of a margarita unfinished. DH and I both noticed...who abandons a perfectly good drink?!
ewall- that’s weird and like breaking some unwritten rule that you should finish your drink! Maybe he had multiple drinks and was feeling like he needed to stop?
We had a busy day yesterday! Walmart, Costco, and a walk before nap. Then my dad stopped by with Starbucks for DH and I. I also got a text from a friend of a friend that her and her husband were local for a marriage retreat and had a small window to come by so we ended up seeing them! They are such a great couple (and individuals...she SAH with her kids so I can relate a lot to her and her DH did what my DH does for work so they always have stuff to talk about)...they want us to go to the retreat next year...depending on how much it costs we just might do that (we could really benefit from this).
