What you linked isn't private because ladies have to be able to let Charmed know they have joined. Where it says "Approved Members Only" is private. No?
The content of those threads is private, but putting Bump SNs out for consumption and having everyone on the forum's SNs open to the public negates the "privacy" claim IMO.
For the record, and not to stir anything up, I never even knew the other private board exsisted. I must have missed the post about it a long time ago? I think had more people known, they would have gone there. But I'm assuming people had no idea, like I didn't, so thats why kissy made the new board.
It's against TB's TOS to discuss or invite people to other forums. I can't believe that thread is still up to be honest. The April ProBoard was never discussed out in the open for that reason.
*shrugs* I just think if you're going to make a big damn deal about safety and privacy, be safe and completely private is all. I just don't understand it.

If your board was never discussed out in the open, then how were "we" supposed to know about it.
The yuku board is private - if you aren't a member you can't read posts. The "bump Names" thread was a public space post just to organize the admission process b/c people actually knew about the yuku board.
Nobody cares if their membership is secret or not - the content of the board is private and that is what matters. People have to post under their real SN (not AEs/trolls) and members are verified before they are admitted.
It is different from here - and while your private proboard also exists, nobody knew about it outside of the group that started it or joined it ages ago.

I would care if I were promised it was safe and private. What is so gosh damned hard to understand about that?!? I don't give two shits if anyone uses the April Proboard, but it is 100 % private. That's the fucking point!

If you can read - you can see the words right on the public part of the yuku board - "Public Forum This forum is visible to all" so there is no illusion of privacy in.that.particular.thread.
The point of the yuku board (and I have no preference for format/website or anything like that) is that the private proboard was so secretive that nobody knew about it, so somebody started a private board that actually invited members to join.
I don't understand why you are so heated about it to use swear words.
Ouiser, if it is 100% private, then how is ANYONE supposed to join? Thats what I dont understand, and what I don't understand about you being irritated that another private board was formed. Maybe its just going right over my head, but I don't see your argument. You are saying if people wanted a TRUE private board, why not go to yours, right? But again, since its SOOO private, how is anyone supposed to know to join? You can't truly be 100% private and actually HAVE people in your group. So this new 'private' group is the next best thing...with actual people in it.
My point was, I don't know why another SEMI private board that claims to be private was created when we already have one. The person who created the YUKU board IS A MEMBER OF THE OTHER ABSOLUTELY PRIVATE BOARD so that completely negates the fact that NOBODY KNEW ABOUT IT, and so does the member list. I am not aggravated that nobody went running to the board I started, I just think the Yuku board is completely unnecessary, inaccurately "private" and just one more fracture to the group. Why are some of you being so damn dense about it?!? If you want to play over there play, but I can state my opinion that I think it's dumb and it isn't secure.
