In regard to beauty vloggers being young, I feel like there needs to be more middle aged women doing beauty tutorials and blogs in general.

I'll be 39 in a few weeks. I'm hating the tutorials that keep pop up for "mature" skin, but some of the vloggers aren't out of college yet.

I feel like my skin is more dull, and pores are weird.

I don't fix myself up as much as I did, and I definitely want to start doing that again. I miss trying to be cuter. LOL!!

And speaking of bebe vloggers, I hate that they wear so much foundation and concealer when their skin is naturally beautiful. And my 16yo niece is getting her makeup tricks from these girls, so she packs on the makeup too and I hate it.

38. I was just thinking about this the other day when a vlogger I follow mentioned she was in her late 20s. It surprised me, I thought she was in her mid-30s based on how she talks about herself as older and dresses more formally.

It does seem like there’s a real scarcity of beauty/fashion vloggers in their 30s/40s that aren’t mommy focused. I recently started watching What Kate Finds and Busbee Style. There’s emilynoel of course, but she seems to be trying to get into the mommy vlogger game and I have no interest. I still find it so weird that people give a shit about other people’s grocery shopping and play dates.

You might like Jenlovesreviews. She’s in her late 30s. She is taking a break in July though for a family trip. The Beauty News women are also great. They’ll usually talk a bit about 30ish skin concerns.

I agree that these vloggers are so young. They have such beautiful skin then cake on so much makeup.

Two weeks and I'm 30. Growing up in a place with no sun helped my skin stay young, but I feel like I should get more serious about my skin routine.

I'm 38, will be 39 in July. I think my skin actually looks better now than it did when I was 35 because I had a newborn then and I wasn't following any regular routine. Sleep and consistency - boring but it works.

I'm 37, will be 38 in a couple months. I wish there were more YouTubers who could speak to how to actually cover really dark circles as your skin gets older. It seems like it's either "triangle of light under the eyes" from the young ones or "use a really lightweight concealer that barely covers anything" from the ones who seem like they might be close to my age.

My BFF has been on me to start a YT channel. I'm not working since I've been sick and I've always been the go to makeup and skincare person in any group of friends. And I'm 45 and as several of you mentioned, there aren't many older YT beauty folks. And I'm no expert MUA, just an enthusiast. Anyway, I'm sort of kind of thinking about it.
