mpc , does your OB have you on baby aspirin for pre-e phryphylaxis? I don't know if you have to start out taking it much earlier or if adding it now would help, something to ask about if you're not on it perhaps. Take it easy! Pre-e is nothing to mess with, and the earlier you get it the more severe it can be. I hope it stays mild for you!
I've been taking baby aspirin because of my loss history, so that's covered at least.
We decided to ask my mom to come with us this weekend to help with the kids at the wedding. She'll come to the ceremony but I don't think they'll be able to accommodate her at the reception. The plan is for her to take DD back to the hotel. I feel kinda bad for my mom, but it should make a lot less work for me during all of it. I don't think BIL and FSIL understand at all. BIL said why do you need her there, it's ok with us if one of you just holds her (DD) during the ceremony. I laughed so hard when H told me that. There is no way DD would put up with that. She would be crying and squirming to get down and then making a run for it to wreak havoc wherever she could. I know it's not really my place to bring an extra person along with me, but we are just trying to do the best that we can do. If it wasn't family and if they didn't want our kids to be ring bearer and flower girl, then we would've made different arrangements for them a long time ago.
Well there is protein in my urine, which the doctor found to be “alarming”. (The number was 496 from the 24 hour collection, for those of you who understand these things.) she is referring me to the MFM and sending me for weekly NSTs. I had numbers in the 400s twice during my last pregnancy and I don’t remember them scaring me as much. Maybe it’s just because it’s so much earlier this time (23 vs 30 weeks). I made it to 38/39 weeks before, so hopefully that is the result again. I’m nervous though.
