Guys I am SO tired. I think the PIO is catching up with me. The adrenaline of embryo reports and waiting for transfer overrode it the first few days but now that itās nothing but waiting I just want to sleep forever.
First appt for my next stim cycle tomorrow. Thankfully they said I probably won't need another appt until Monday 7/9 if all goes well, which is good because I'll be on vacay next week! (The only bad part is that it will be over 90 degrees on my vacation to VERMONT with no AC!)
We got the results of our PGT testing and we have one 5BB, genetically perfect, beautiful, healthy embryo. We're going to do an ERA biopsy cycle to confirm uterine receptivity before moving into a transfer cycle. This was optional but I really want to do it.
To review stats (for any of you cycling now) 38 years old, .79 AMH, no male factor issues Did a micro-stim cycle, retrieved 6, 4 mature, 4 fertilized. 2 made it to biopsy and freeze 1 PGT normal.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.

It's a boy.
That's amazing! YAY! Our stats are almost identical (38, .5 AMH, no MF), got 5 eggs, 4 mature, 4 fertilized, 4 to biopsy, 1 PGS normal. We don't know what it is yet It's so hard to hear that "it only takes one", but it's true! I'm 7 weeks pg today!

I think I'm supposed to move boards now...I'm 7 weeks today and we saw the hb on u/s this morning I started crying before the u/s and couldn't stop the entire time. Even when the Dr said things looked normal and that he saw a hb, I was crying and couldn't even look at the screen for a few minutes. But our last pregnancy ended at almost 9 weeks after 2 u/s with hb so I'm having a hard time accepting that this time it might be different. We did PGS testing on the embryos, so the chances of mc are so much lower than it was for our last pregnancy where we used clomid and not ivf. My anxiety is sky high and this group has brought me so much comfort and support. So maybe I'll just lurk here a bit longer if it's ok?

BEST of luck to you!!!!
Yes I remember your story and it definitely gives me hope. best wishes to you, I'll be stalking the Graduates board to follow the rest of your pregnancy!
claireasmud, I totally get it. H and I were just having that conversation the other day, as I started to tell him I'd feel better "once" and then realized there is no once. PGAL is such a bitch. We're happy to support you, but also the Grads board is also very welcoming and helpful if you need to vent about more specific pregnancy related things.
OH, man, guys. Small setback. Might be a massive setback. My doctor is under the impression we're doing estrogen priming this cycle with hysteroscopy, and then the next time I get my period, we'll start stims and do a retrieval. I told the u/s sound tech today that that will not be happening because my insurance runs out August 3. We're either stimming NOW or... I'm canceling the cycle, I guess. I don't have the $20k in my bank account to do a stim cycle without insurance. So now I have to wait until he gets back to her about what's going on. I'll be annoyed if I have to go back to the doctor in the morning because I have errands to run before we leave and I'll have to set up monitoring appts, but I guess that will be better than the alternative, which is no IVF.
My meds were super cheap for fet. I had estrogen, pio, and a trigger shot. I had a baseline monitoring appointment then just one other monitoring so 2 total thiugh they said if my lining hadn't looked good it would have been 3 monitoring. We transferred on cycle day 17.
While I wait (and wait and wait) for Day 5 results, I'm starting to think about next cycle. We have 1 normal frozen, and I think I'd like to move into transfer next cycle even if we don't have PGS results back.
Can you guys give me an idea of what to expect for drugs/monitoring for a FET? What day have you transferred? I've looked online, but info is all over the place.
Okay, I flipped out for (almost) nothing. They want to do the hysteroscopy because of the loss, but since we're doing freeze-all, we can do it next cycle and then do transfer after that. So I'll probably start the new protocol today, BUT I'll have to monitor in both VT and NY, so I'll need to call.

Oh gosh, this is such a frustrating miscommunication. I hope you will be able to get ahold of the doctor today to find out whether you can move forward with stims right away. I am wishing you the best. <3
greengardener, I can't quote costs, but like King26 said, FETs are super easy. I only needed PIO, Endometrin (in the case of pregnancy), Estrace, and I think maybe 2 monitoring appointments to check lining.

Any day between like 18 and 22? Monitoring is nowhere near as frequent as is it for stimming. It's like, "cool, see ya next week!" They'll do a baseline, then bring you back in later on to make sure your lining is good and there aren't any cysts throwing off hormones or anything.
My protocol was baby aspirin, estrace tablets, and PIO, which is a PITA, but at least it's only one shot a day instead of the 3-4 you might do while stimming. And the only side effect I ever had from PIO is loss of appetite, though some people feel sick from a lot of progesterone, or get headaches.

greengardener, I think we may go to the same clinic. Let me know if you have any specific questions. I transferred on Day 20, and had 4 monitoring appts.

msmerymac, yes, you get same day results. Also, my RE ordered all the meds for stimming and FET up front, so you should have them all before your insurance runs out.
CNY called and 8 embryos look good, 3 look fair on Day 3! If they make it to Day 5, we will biopsy and test them all.
