Hugs estrellita. I'm sorry it was such a rough night. I hope both kids feel better soon!
C decided it was a good idea to wake up for the day at 4am. I of course stayed up extra late last night because DH went to sleep early and I just enjoyed having quiet time to myself. I'm moving around like a zombie today. Thankfully C has been keep food down all morning!

((Hugs)) bk1. Sorry for the super early wake up. L did that to us yesterday and it was brutal. I hope they both nap today so you can get some rest!
I asked C this morning if he wants to sleep in a big boy bed (he’s almost 3y7m and still in a crib 😮). He said no. After our horrible experience with him sleeping on a cot during vacation I don’t think it’s all that bad but at some point he needs to at least be in a toddler bed, right!?! We will have to baby proof his room, put a gate upstairs, and probably something on L’s door so C can’t get in.
We are heading to the lake in a little bit! Hopefully with friends but the mom is pregnant and wasn’t feeling well yesterday so we’ll see what she wants to do today.

luv2rn4fun I don't think you NEED to switch him if he still fits in the crib and likes it. Whenever you do switch, get door knob covers! We have one in his room and it keeps him from sneaking out. We also have one on the door to go upstairs and had one on the hall door in case he figured out how to get out of his room (we have a door from the living room that leads to a square hallway, the bedrooms, bathroom and door to upstairs are in here). So you could either put one inside his room and/or on the doors of whatever rooms you don't want him to potentially get into.

H said E seems like he's getting better. Fever is down and he asked for breakfast this morning. He hasn't gotten sick at all. We have a family get together tomorrow (that MIL thinks is a surprise wedding) so we're going to see how he does the rest of the day and tomorrow to make sure he's ok to go. FX that was it and it doesn't come back!
E is six months old today! How has half a year gone by?! He is 19 lbs and 27 inches, and his head is off the charts. We definitely see a tooth starting, so that explains the icky poops and lack of sleep! Here's hoping he waits awhile for tooth number 2. We were not prepared for teeth yet--Jack got his first at almost 10 months, and so did both my husband and I!

Thanks estrellita! DH was just complaining that he doesn’t know anyone C’s age that is still in a crib and he doesn’t understand why I haven’t weaned then from white noise (why change it if it’s working!?!). I figured I would make the transition when he climbed out of his crib...now it will either be that or when he stops napping/needing quiet time because no way will he nap/stay in his room if he’s in a bed LOL
Glad E is feeling better! Hope you get to go to your surprise family event tomorrow!!
krystee- wow, that went by super fast! Yay for first tooth and at least a reason for the lack of sleep! Both my boys had their first teeth (I believe C even had 4) by 6 months! I know L had all but his 2 year molars at his 18 month appointment! He might be working on molars now because he’s been a little off as well.
estrellita- I hope you are able to figure it out soon.
luv2rn4fun- still on a crib? 😳 Can you please get him to talk to DD so that I can keep her in her crib forever? Lol I hope when we do transition dd to a bed it’s not horrible, as she sleeps on a cot at daycare.
I have an appointment with a doctor here to get a referral to the lost clinic here so that I can speak to the doctor about treatment for another pregnancy. (To talk about doing fragmin injections again until 20-24 weeks) Once we figure that out I will have my IUD removed.)
Our crib says once they hit 35" to convert to a toddler bed. H is insisting on following that rule lol. Unfortunately that means we are only 4 inches from that.

I should probably look at that 😀. I have always just heard that once they start climbing out then you have to. It’s amazing he hasn’t tried...he knows he can escape a PNP no problem! He’s about 38” now. L is about 33” so we aren’t far from that criteria with him either.
awick14- it has been amazing to have him in a crib this long...but it’s defini reaching “it’s been long enough”status. So excited for you guys to start TTC again soon!!! Prayers that it is a MUCH smoother process this time around!

Oops, we have a height limit of 90 cm, or 35.4”. I remember reading about the whole “climbing out of the crib” and a weight limit for PNP but never considering a height limit for the crib. He’s only 31 lbs at 3.5 yo so definitely in the smaller side. Looks like we will be making this transition sooner than later 😂

Omfg A is throwing an absolute tantrum in the bedroom right now. She's screaming "DADADADADA" and slamming her feet down. I literally think she's yelling for H. I told him she knows he'll give in and that "we" (he) have created some bad sleeping habits and it's going to be hard to fix them. I don't want to give in and pick her up but maybe this can be a gradual thing? I'm about to go to bed and was hoping she'd show any signs at all of calming down. Nope. Not a chance.
I have prided myself on never missing a day with the month stickers. Until today. So at 10:35 pm, I threw a 6 month sticker into the crib and took a photo so I can technically say I have never missed a day. Poor second kid.

You are a great mama! I think I did much better with L but did a horrible job with C...even so, I was sometimes a few days late 😀. They won’t know the difference LOL

I'm impressed. I think most of C's were 1-2 weeks late. Lol
No fever this morning and E said he's feeling better! He's a little cranky but.. he always is. Lol.
I think we are raising the same kid (I mean there are good moments but man has he been difficult for a long time now LOL. Mostly when we are home though, so much better when we are out and about)! It has to be the age!
Glad he’s feeling better! How did it go last night with A?

Better I think, lol. H ended up holding her for a bit after I went to bed but after he brought her in, she slept the rest of the night! I'm not sure if it was the Merlin suit we hadn't been using lately or her sleeping by H but whatever it was, I'm hoping it'll work again!
