Let's have a brag on something cute your kid did today thread.
Just now I was wolfing down some food. Etta is in the bouncer, yelling. Not crying, yelling. My hubby sighed, and then I yelled as if I were Etta: "I AM SO SLEEPY AND ALSO MY TEETH HURT!" she immediately stopped yelling and grinned at me like, "Oh yay! You DO get it!"
When we put Owen in this tub tonight he immediately sat forward and to the side and started sucking on the side of the tub. Nom nom nom tub. It was pretty funny.

Aww, both of those stories ARE cute.
V has a cold and she fell asleep on me today. We got to cuddle up together.
And I got my first "painting" from daycare. I was irrationally excited about it, even though it's just a drawn apple with some red blobs in the middle. It's on the fridge!

I didn't get to see Liam most of today... we spent the morning together but then i was on campus or driving to/from campus from 11-6. So, when I got home, my mom was here with him and he was passed out. We started talking and he woke up, looked at me, smiled really big and reached for me. It pretty much made my shitty day amazing.
I think L is learning to fake cry. He woke up for his 3 am feeding last night, and started his usual whining. I gave it a minute to make sure he was really awake, and sure enough he starts screaming. So I go in there, turn on the night light, and look down to see a giant grin on his face, and then he blew raspberries at me.
Then tonight I put him to bed awake, w/o his paci, as usual. Normally he knocks right out, but I can hear him over the monitor whining and grunting and getting progressively louder. Soon enough he's at the screaming/yelling phase. So I go in there, grab the paci, and as soon as I walk over to the crib he laughs and then gives me bird-mouth when he sees the paci in my hand. I pop it in his mouth and he closed his eyes and went straight to sleep.

Athena spent the afternoon at my Mom's - when I finally got up there after a painfully long drive and she looked up and saw me, she gave me the biggest, gummy smile. Made my day. Watching her in the jumparoo and scream/laugh topped it off.

I was eating dessert with Adria on my lap and she stuck her hand right into my frozen Greek yogurt, stuck a fistful in her mouth and rubbed the rest on my face... She's lightening quick, like a baby ninja!
Usually I feed Ansley her cereal, or now it's sweet potatoes. But, I was washing botles and such so I made it and asked DH if he wanted to feed her. He was talking to her all sweet and she was freaking out and excited over more food. Her put the spoon in her mouth and she blew the biggest raspberry. Sweet potato ALL OVER daddy! Way to go girl!

My H didn't get home until 8:30 tonight, and it just so happened to be in the middle of good ole fashioned Brady naked time. They were very excited to see each other. H picked little man up and sat him on his lap and they were "chatting" and laughing and all that jazz. See where this is going...?? Brady did dad a solid and peed all over him, laughing the entire time he did! haha. I found it hilarious as well
Awww all of these are so cute! And Tamb - I LOVE Joanna!
Camden is sick with a cold, but he's been sooo cuddly. Today he just wanted to be near me. I was holding him and kissing his face, and all of a sudden he grabbed my face with his hands and planted a huge wet boogery spitty kiss/lick on my cheek. It was the cutest thing ever. Funny how moms don't care about spit and boogers!
When Maggie was in her crib after a nap I kept crouching down beside it so she couldn't see me and then popping up with a "Tada!" She jumped and laughed every time. It was adorable and hilarious.
Jamie figured out how to blow raspberries right before a nap. For the first 10 minutes all i heard on the monitor was "phhht. Phhht." He's so proud of his new skill.

Today Andrew decided to be ticklish. I'd just grab his buddha belly and tickle it and he would almost pass out from laughing so hard. He's never been ticklish before though. . .
Thad has become a champion sitter. It is all he wants to do. When he falls over, we yell "TIMBER!" and he giggles like a psycho. Then he fake cries till we sit him up again.

Lincoln has his 2 bottom teeth and he's obsessed with biting everything. So this morning I was leaning in to give him a kiss and he bit my nose and started laughing hysterically!
Ava learned that she can make a high pitched squeal sound. I thought someone locked the cat somewhere when I heard it. Then I realized it was her. It was cute. Then a little annoying.

lol, J has started doing this a lot too. She was doing it ALL DAY on Saturday. ugh
Oh my gosh. Brady makes the squealing cat sound, too. Wigs me out!
Brady has always loved his baths. But usually he just straight up lounges in there. Last night, oh my word. Kid was splashing and kicking and going nuts. It was hilarious!
