seeyalater52 , you are officially a bad influence (I say that with love). I couldn't sleep all night, since I decided to test this morning. I had to sneak in the bathroom before DH got up, because I swore to him I wouldn't test until Thursday. I'll wait until Friday to post any updates, as I want to wait until beta results come in.
We've got a few September transfers, right? So excited for all of you <3
Yup, my transfer is scheduled for 9/14. My FET protocol is about 6 weeks (I start with BCP), so I'm technically already cycling. I start Lupron next Monday.

My doc is going on vacation this week, so Iβm meeting his colleague who will do my baseline ultrasound.
I donβt have Lupron, only Estrace and the steroid. Iβve been on BCP for two months, and itβs hard to remember to take it and I get breakthrough bleeding a lot. My face is starting to clear up after a terrible bout of teenage acne.

Yay!
My protocol is BCP, then Lupron, then Vivelle dots (which I've never used before), and progesterone. I only have 3 appts: 8/22 for a lining check, 9/8 for a ultrasound, and then transfer on 9/14. FETs are so much easier than fresh cycles!
I had my cyst aspirated yesterday and the recovery is nothing!!! I had some mild cramping yesterday but not even the equivalent of PMS cramps. Was knocked out for 20 min and it took longer to do the prep than the actual surgery. DH and I went for lunch after and I fell asleep for 3 hours when I got home.
They said it was larger than my last ultrasound showed last week however they took got all the fluid out and was equivalent of a 1/2 bottle of wine so it really was the issue.
I go back either this week or next for another monitoring (blood and ultrasound) so we should be able to start treatment FINALLY.
Itβs CD 18 and Iβm still waiting on the LH surge. Using 2nd MU for the tests is getting tricky! If I donβt see it by day 20 I have to go in for blood work. Usually I would get it around CD 17, so hopefully it shows up tomorrow.

So glad you got it out & are recovering nicely! It sounds like it was huge, so I'm sure it couldn't have been good. I'm chuckling at the fact that you equate the volume to 1/2 bottle of wine. Red or white?
Yay you get to start treatment soon!
What's wrong with comparing to a bottle of wine?? Actually it was the doctor who said it. Given what she said I'm going to say red (almost 16 ounces). I already talked with the nurse today and as soon as they get the results back from pathology they'll have me come back in for a monitoring appt and finally get started.

I have my appointment with hematology tomorrow regarding the protein C deficiency diagnosis. I have a few questions about implications for pregnancy, if she thinks this is a logical cause for my losses, and when would I need anticoagulation (long flights? therapeutic vs prophylactic dose of lovenox with pregnancy?) Anyone have any other question suggestions?
megstoo, sounds like it's a good thing you got the cyst taken care of, hope this means things go smoothly from here out
seeyalater52, I might transfer in September. Depends on when my cycle starts, since I'll be in Boston the first week of the month and my RE doesn't like to put me on BC anymore.
Embryology FINALLY called with the PGS results today. One of the four is normal. Two are abnormal. One is non-concurrant (again). I've never had an actual abnormal result, just 2 normal and 2 non-concurrant. Of course, I also haven't had a normal embryo since my first (of 4) retrieval last summer. So we'll move forward with that one and see what happens.
Now I have to actually pay $3500 OOP for each transfer, so if I wind up having to try the non-concurrant or finding out how abnormal is abnormal... that will kind of suck. After the normal transfer I might go get a second opinion from the doctor my friend had success with. He's a bit of an out-of-the-box thinker. But if he thinks I need a donor then we'll go that route.

msmerymac, congrats on the normal embryo! I'm sorry your insurance coverage is ending, though, that makes decisions about the transfers so much more challenging.
msmerymac , where are you geographically? FET is only like $1500 at CNY if you didn't do your retrieval there.
Outside of Philly! My parents live an hour from Syracuse, although I, unfortunately, had a weird and poor experience at CNY Syracuse when I did monitoring there last month. I know they're known for very cost-effective IVF, though. It also seems like all the REs in my area charge $3500ish for self-pay. My new insurance will cover 80% of 2 IVF procedures (less deductible), but my RE is finding out if they'll count a transfer as "one" procedure. If so, I don't want to waste my coverage on something that's a few thousand dollars, as much as it sucks to have to pay that at all!
I'm sorry your Syracuse experience wasn't great. What happened to make it poor? msmerymac
I was there for over 2 hours. :S In the waiting room for an hour, then they took me back to take blood and couldn't get it. They said they'd do the ultrasound first, so I should hop up on the table, and it took them another 45 minutes to come back. Someone else tried to get my blood, couldn't do it, and ended up taking it from my hand (which has never happened to me before).
Then they didn't charge my insurance correctly. (I had a relatively unknown plan, but it works on the Aetna network, so it's accepted at all providers who take Aetna. They... decided to just run it through Aetna? My insurance was expiring in a month so, weirdly, my husband had just signed me up on HIS Aetna plan, which means it went through, but since it's a high deductible plan I now owe $200 instead of $50, so I'll try to get that fixed this week.)
Oh, and they said they did stat results, but my Dr's office had to call them multiple times that afternoon to just get verbal results, so that was also weird.
I've gone in for a lot of monitoring appts in my life and I haven't had to spend more than about 30 minutes in any of them! I don't know how that would fly with people who have to go to work.

That's insane! I don't think I've ever been there for more than a half hour total for a monitoring appointment. That's crazy! I also have the worst luck getting my blood drawn but it's always been good there. I'm so sorry.
compassrose, thanks. When I told the nurse at my RE that I had been there for over two hours she was like, "Oh my god!" I was hopeful that it was just a fluke/weird day.
