lurkers?

Does anyone else think it's weird that so many lurkers have come out of lurkdom today...of all days... on both boards? Like half a dozen or so?

There were a few calls for lurkers to come out on TB.

Not really. They come out in spurts. And they probably think if they come out now, they can establish as regular posters without getting lost in the activity of the board.

This. I have no problem with lurkers coming out given they arent cuntfucks. The more the merrier! I did kind of go "woah" at all the lurkers just because there are a lot. I guess I thought there weren't many, at least this late into the game.

This was actually my thinking! I guess it may seem weird, but it seemed easier to come out to play now.

I came out of lurking on ML when they GBCNed over to here. It seemed easier to do it when everything was in chaos than when regular posters were in their normal rhythm. When April did the same thing, I figured I'd jump in here too

I dunno if I'm considered a lurker... I've been on April 2012 since finding out I was pregnant and have always posted in spurts then went back to lurking, depending on what's going on irl, I guess. I have posted more the past few days though.

I was thinking that the ones that came out on TB did so because some of the more "intimidating" posters have moved here. Though it does seem like a good time to come out.

I was planning on coming out but I'm lazy. My H often makes fun of me for never posting. I didn't feel that there were intimidating posters I just didn't have a lot to contribute. I also didn't have time to post until the evening and by then, if I had something to contribute it had most likely already been said.
