We've been dealing with congestion for over a week now. He had a yucky cold at first and now it's just nighttime congestion that wakes him up all the time. The past two nights I put him back in the RnP, which we transitioned from a few weeks ago because it helps with the congestion at night and he sleeps a little better (2 wake ups vs 5 or 6) but I don't want to have to do the whole transitioning thing again so tonight I'm trying the PnP again. We'll see how it goes! We do lots of saline drops and nose sucking....how's it going for you?
Camden has had a cold, so major congestion. He first got it Monday night. Monday-Tuesday night was the worst of it. We propped his crib mattress up a bit, but then he ended up sleeping in our bed propped on a pillow. It helped him breath better. Yesterday he started feeling better, and last night was almost back to normal. Every few times I could hear him in his crib trying to breath out of his nose, but resulting in breathing through his mouth because it was still a little stuffed up. We do lots of saline and sucking, too! HE hates that! I hope Tristan starts feeling better! It definitely sucks when they are sick!

Athena has been really congested for a couple of weeks now. She still sleeps in her swing because I can't bare to move her so her head is a bit elevated. She wakes herself up coughing from all the yucky stuff dripping into her throat. The bulb doesn't work... I bought a battery operated thing, and the sound of that just scared the shit out of her... I finally bought the nosefrida last night. So far, that's helping the most!

Love the nose frida! It really does work well. I'm a little concerned about my girl, she loves getting her nose sucked out. She just smiles and laughs. Weird girl!

Lucky! She looks at me like I'm sucking her brains out then screams bloody murder!

Definitely lucky! He acts like I'm torturing him every time I do it!
Me. I took him to the pedi because it had gone on for 12 days. Of course, there is nothing they can do, but it gave me peace of mind to know his lungs are clear (he's been coughing too). So, this combined with the 4MW means I haven't slept in a month. Sigh.

I feel your pain. I think I had a week of decent sleep in the last 6ish weeks in between RnP transition, 4mw and this...
