It looks like cycle one (20 days) was anovulatory. Not that I'm really surprised. I guess I'm glad to know that things seem to be working as they should?

That's too bad. At least it was short so you can get started again.

1. Cycle 4 of TTC #2. On CD 29 but I didn't ovulate until CD 25. Of course as soon as I bought a CBEFM (to start next cycle) I finally got a positive on the OPKs! And definite ovulation pain to confirm it. We had good timing so maybe this will be it. With DS, we got pregnant on the cycle I ovulated really late as well (we were actually TTA and I thought I had already ovulated and was in the clear).
2. That "sister says I chose to raise my kids" really got under my skin. I wish people would stop doing that shit.
3. #1 we weren't TTC (see above), and we were both still in school (close to graduating). I kind of wish I would have had some time to start a career, travel, etc. before having #1 but I think it worked out ok. In fact, I think the fact I've never really known just having a career (and not a career + baby) has actually made it easier in some ways because I don't have anything to compare it to.

1. Where are you in your cycle or TTC journey? Trying since January, CD3 this cycle
2. Any news/AWs/vents to share? After yet another well-timed but unproductive cycle, I think I need to go see my doctor to at least start talking about this and getting the ball rolling with figuring out what's going on. I keep putting it off for 2 reasons, which are both dumb.
1. I've been told in the past by my doctor that I need to lose some weight. I did, but I've gained some back very recently and I really don't want to be "yelled at" for it. I already feel like crap for gaining the weight and not being able to get pg.
2. I guess going to the doctor makes it real that there's a problem. It's a lot easier to keep having hope every month that it's going to happen on its own (which, obviously it still might). It's hard to not feel like a failure in some way even though I know that's not true and it's nobody's fault. It just seems, IDK, embarrassing in some way. Yes, I know this is irrational.
3. QOTW - What's one thing you wish you could have done before TTCing? Lost more weight and gone on a really nice vacation. DH & I have never gone on a nice vacation together. We spend all of our days off and money to go visit family and attend weddings (last year and this year have been brutal, but I think the end is in sight). The most we've ever done together are long weekend type trips. We're hoping to be able to do something next year though.
1. Where are you in your cycle or TTC journey? 1st cycle not preventing. CD 18 and I usually O on CD15. I have been tempting for several months. Mainly to prevent but also understand where my cycle is.
2. Any news/AWs/vents to share? I really wanted to wait till October to start again but we mutually decided to just go for it. We went to Hot Springs this weekend and had a great time.
I finally O'd on CD 18. That is a really late for me. So I think we may have missed it this month. But that is perfectly okay. I am going to try not to stress about it and/or obsess.
3. QOTW - What's one thing you wish you could have done before TTCing? This is # 2 for us. I don't think this question really applies.

1. Where are you in your cycle or TTC journey? We are half-assed trying this month, but are pretty much in limbo until the RE appointment next month.
2. Any news/AWs/vents to share? I went to the doc who agreed that my LP was way short. She sent me for 7DPO bloodwork (which I had to have done at 5 DPO since I don't make it to 7, and 6 was a Sunday) and CD3 bloodwork. I Dr. Googled, and it appears everything is normal aside from my progesterone, which was a whopping 3.3 (should be > 15 according to what I've read). Also, my FSH was higher than my LH, but both levels were in the "good" range, and I read that it's better to have a higher FSH than LH, because a higher LH can indicate PCOS. I'm ready for this RE appt NOW, but I can't get in til Oct 10, grrrr.
3. QOTW - What's one thing you wish you could have done before TTCing? Go to Egypt. We were booked on a Nat Geo tour for a whole year, then the month before we were supposed to leave all hell broke loose over there and they cancelled the trip.
1. Where are you in your cycle or TTC journey? 3 months post m/c
2. Any news/AWs/vents to share? I THINK I got a BFP today 9 DPO and super faint.
3. QOTW - What's one thing you wish you could have done before TTCing? Gotten wasted at this wedding I was at on Saturday...but I didn't want to risk it.
BTW, I'm a regular with a new name in case you're wondering why some random came in here
1. Where are you in your cycle or TTC journey? Cycle 3, CD 1
2. Any news/AWs/vents to share? I'm partially glad last month didn't work out because the timing was kind of terrible.
3. QOTW - What's one thing you wish you could have done before TTCing? Probably get some financial things in better order. Our life is still kind of up in the air, but I'm not sure things will ever be calm for us, lol.

1. Cycle 3, CD22, 5 DPO
2. This month, I'm somewhat terrified that I might actually get pregnant. It's like reality hit and it's kind of scary!
3. We would love to already own a house, but it will take several more years to save a down payment, and we want 2-4 kids (and would like to have them while we're on the younger side), so it's a sacrifice we feel is right for us. Other than that...it would've been fun to travel more, but it just wasn't in the cards financially (see "saving for a down payment").
Trying for #3; FET 8/18 -- BFN. Leaving things up to chance for now... After three years, three IVFs, and two FETs, we finally have our miracle babIES!
1. I also had a short (21 day) anovulatory cycle to kick off TTC. So now we're at CD7 on the second one and I survived my first pp period.
2. I am so not into sex the way I was before we had a kid. I don't know how I will fake enthusiasm if this takes a while. Although I don't actually think DH cares if I'm super enthusiastic as long as he's getting laid more often.
3. For this time: I wish I was in better shape. With #1, I was pretty fit and strong... not so much right now. My only other "to do" is drink all the wine in the house before the end of the month so it doesn't mock me if I am pregnant. And then if I'm not, I go wine shopping for next month.

1. Where are you in your cycle or TTC journey? Cycle 11, Month 12, CD53
2. Any news/AWs/vents to share?I thought that I had started my period yesterday. There was a ton of blood when I wiped. So I stuck a tampon up there and considered it CD1. I also called my RE to schedule my sonohysterogram. Well I went to change the tampon and there was NO blood! Ugh, what the fuck? I keep hoping that it will start but no dice. So now I have an appointment that I have to cancel AGAIN because my body is stupid! I'll probably on Monday and see if I can just change my appointment to a meeting of some sort because at the point I'll be on CD60 and I just want my period! I took a test today and it was of course negative. I also haven't temped the last two days because I don't temp on my period and I didn't hear my alarm today so what if I actually ovulated? Gah, this sucks! Is weight-related anovulation a thing? Because I've gained a bit too much weight in the past few months.
3. QOTW - What's one thing you wish you could have done before TTCing? Go to Hawaii or Europe for 2 weeks.
1. Where are you in your cycle or TTC journey? Trying since Sept. '11. Cd 25. Took a test yesterday and it was negative.
2. Any news/AWs/vents to share? no
3. QOTW - What's one thing you wish you could have done before TTCing? Gone on a big vacation. The honeymoon thread the other day made me sad we didn't go all out.
I am checking in with a question and I guess I could look at the chart gallery on FF but I wanted to ask you ladies.
I have just started temping. It is extremely up and down. When I look at pictures on FF all the graphs with temps like that say the woman has endometriosis or arent ovulating which obviously has me nervous.
Do your temps go up and down a lot (I'm talking like 97 one day, 98 the next, back to 97 etc) or is it a pattern? I am temping correctly.
1. Where are you in your cycle or TTC journey? CD20, waiting for CD1 so we can start TTC again after m/c. We've been TTC since August 2011.
2. Any news/AWs/vents to share? Started progestin yesterday to kick start AF. So glad my RE wanted to proceed, if this all times out right, I'll be done with AF before we leave for vacation, and if the stars align, we could make a Europe baby! Then we can be creepy and name our kid after the town s/he was conceived in. Jk, lolz. Can you imagine? "And this is baby Brussels, but we just call her Sprout!"
3. QOTW - What's one thing you wish you could have done before TTCing? In terms of doing stuff, we're pretty set. We've both done a lot of kid-free travel, we feel financially secure enough, we're established in our career paths. The only thing I wish is that I could get to an ideal weight, but if I waited to do that before TTC, we might never have kids. I continue to work on healthy eating and exercise, and that's going to have to be enough for now.

My preO temps ranged from 97.0 - 98.0, and my postO temps ranged from 97.7 - 98.7, so a full degree for both. And it definitely is a jagged line, but there is a clear shifter higher after O.
1. Where are you in your cycle or TTC journey? Cycle 1, CD12 (I think)
2. Any news/AWs/vents to share? I had my IUD taken out on what I thought to be CD4. I never got a period with it, but had very clear PMS symptoms (gas, cramping, bloating) and in August the smallest bit of spotting. I've been using the CBEFM this cycle, and haven't gotten a "high" day yet. This is a stupid vent b/c I'm not sure what CD1 was exactly, b/c I just had my IUD removed, and b/c it's still only CD12. Yes, I'm crazy!
3. QOTW - What's one thing you wish you could have done before TTCing? I wish we traveled to Europe. Now we will have to wait for the kids to be old enough to enjoy it!

On cycles when I ovulate, I still see a jagged line. I'm a mouth breather at night, too, so I think that affects it. I still see the clear shift when it jumps after ovulating.
On cycles when I don't ovulate, I can tell - the temps are very jagged, but there's no clear upward shift. I have PCOS, so that happens often if I'm not on a medicated cycle.
I'm not sure which cycle we're on, but I'm on CD 16. My ovulation pee sticks have been pretty dark for the past 3'ish days... so I assume I've O'ed, or close to it!
If no bfp this month, I'm all set for an IUI next cycle!
In the meantime, I need to lose around 30lbs, in case I need to get IVF. My weight is above their current treatment threshhold.
1. Where are you in your cycle or TTC journey? Cycle 2 Day 5
2. Any news/AWs/vents to share? Thought I was pregnant last night because the pill caused nausea and increased smell. I decided to chart this month to have a little more control.
3. QOTW - What's one thing you wish you could have done before TTCing?
I have done almost everything but I wish I was 20 pounds lighter. I recently lost 15 pounds pre-TTC during the summer so I'm pretty proud of myself.
