October Lip Pics

Cheating a bit today as I'm wearing a new color I bought over the weekend (like I need anything new, lol).

Anyways, it's the new Melted Metallic in I Dare You. I really like it, so definitely a good buy that I will continue to wear.

Today I wore another freebie, Clinique lipstick in Bare Pop.  Not sure if it's still made or if I'd buy it, but I'll definitely keep it and try to use it up.




As a bonus, since I've been slacking a bit, here's a NYX gloss I tried on but didn't but (yet?).  NYX Slip Tease Full Color Lip Lacquer in Rosy Outlook.

Today's lip is Bite Verbena. Like it. This tube is on my 18 in 2018 list, but I am not sure that I'm going to use it up this year.

Lipstick Queen in Hello Sailor today.  It's a very sheer blue that gives your lips a mauvey tint.  I got a mini and I'll keep it for now, but I rarely reach for it.  I included pictures of my coffee cup kid to try to help you see the color and sheerness.

I’m so bummed I never bought the full size. This was just a gift mini.

MAC capricious. It was free, and I love it!

Yesterday I wore Nars Audacious lipstick in Audrey.  The formula dries my lips out if I wear it too much, but I do love the color.

I also love the color. It’s the closet thing I’ve found to my HG/signature color and favorite of 15+ years, MAC Mystic. Unfortunately, they stopped making it (SOB)

But the Audacious line is too drying for me.

I hate that. Can you wear it if you use lots of lip balm underneath? That helps me a little.

Yesterday I wore Clinique Long Last Lipstick in Merlot.  It's a mini, must've been part of GWP at some point.  I really like it and would consider getting a full size eventually.

Last night I wore the dark red I made when I went to the Bite Lip Lab.  It's pigmented enough that it drags a little on application, but I love the color.

Yesterday was UD Sheer Ladyflower. Keeping it.



Today is a NYX xtreme shine lip crème in strawberry jam. I don't remember ever wearing this before, so lets hope that it doesn't end up all over my face by the end of the day. Originally, I planned to wear a Jeffree Star liquid lipstick in Rich Blood, but the shit was dried out. That's fine though, since it wasn't what I thought it was when I originally ordered it and JS is a fuckhead. I tossed it.

10/17 Smashbox Be Legendary Liquid Pigment in Rose B4 Bros. I hate the formula. Super goopy and it's bleeding like crazy. I guess I'm just so used to wearing matte liquid lips that dry down, I just don't like this. Most of it has worn off already, and it's created an okay stain. Still not enough to keep it. Toss.

Clinique Cherry Pop. It was free. I like the formula. I don’t reach for it. I think it’s a bit bluer than is good for me. Warmer reds tend to work better.

Fresh Sugar in Cherry. My last Fresh balm, but the one that gets the least wear, since I usually reserve balms for weekends and WFH days. This one though, too dressy for that, if that’s even possible. I love it though.

Ignore the dumb look on my face lol. Love these peach/fig lipsticks from Too Faced. It’s a really comfortable matte formula.

I just realized as I reconciled my list with my posts on here, that I didn't post my lip from last Wed & thurs- I wore Bite Quinta (old formula) and Tarte Lipsurgence in Soulful. I feel like Quinta is similar to one of the UD Sheer colors I have, so I'm undecided if I'm going to keep it.

Today's lip is Jeffree Star- Unicorn Blood

Marc Jacobs Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.

I can never decide about this one bc it looks so different to me in different light. Sometimes it looks pretty neutral, but other times a brighter pink.



I’m not wild about it, but I don’t hate it either. I just hate to throw it away bc I do like the formula. Eh.
