Thoughts on wellie wishers? My dd will be 4 in February. She circled it in the AG catalog and I noticed they have a few sets at Costco. I don’t mind the price but I’m wondering if just waiting until she is 5 and getting a 18inch doll makes more sense. We have an embarrassing amount of bitty babies/twins so I’m kind of maxed out on doll stuff right now.
Santa is bringing them the Fisher Price Food Truck. I wanted a bigger play kitchen but we don’t have a ton of space so we’re going with this one.
We are buying them the Elmo’s On The Go Letters. I like that it is it’s own carrying case so that we don’t have pieces flying all over. Their other gift will be the Feed Me Cookie Monster. Clearly they LOVE Sesame Street lol
We have a few other small suggestions for family - bath toys, crayons/washable paints/play dough, new Moonlite story reels etc but I’m really hoping to petition all of the Grandparents to buy them kitchen helper stands.

My DD is 6 and we are still going strong on WellieWishers. I'm making her wait until she's 8 for an 18-inch doll, though. I want her to be able to read and appreciate the books that go along with the historical dolls.

We have a few. DD likes them ok but strongly prefers her bitty baby and 18 inch dolls. She likes the softer bodies. She will be 8 next month. She got her first 18 inch doll at 5 and that was a good age.
DS also loves his magnetic drawing boards. I got it for like $10, and I'm shocked how much we've used it.
Do you have a link for this? Sounds like something my DD1 might enjoy.
Sure! Not the one we have, but these types of things. I think I got ours for like $10 on a prime special. Seriously, awesome money. We use it often at bed time. No mess of coloring/pencils. We draw, play games, hang man, tic tack toe, etc.
Or anything particularly awesome for a 7 month old boy? We have all the major stuff from older sister and while I'll suggest diapers I know the grandparents are going to want something fun.
Bright Starts eggs and LeapFrog picnic basket - DD got these around 6 months and still loves them over a year later. Plus they’re small. And you can keep the sound shut off if you want.
This looks adorable! I'll be putting these on the list for my niece (6 months at Christmas).
My DD wants the AG doll of the year because she has some purple hair and loves space. She already has my old Kirsten, and I have an old Addy to give her, so not sure if we’ll get another one. She also wants a massive doll house, which is not happening.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a toy cash register that works well? We randomly grabbed one at Marahalls, and it is much beloved, but the drawer gets jammed frequently and it is cracked.
For those looking for toddler ideas, I just added a doctors kit to the list. DD played with one at school and enjoyed it.

kate1482, I would opt for an AG doll instead of a Wellie Wisher. My DD got her first AG at 4 (her uncle got it...I wouldn't have). I got her a Wellie Wisher around 5, and she rarely played with it and always preferred the 18-in. doll.

Lakeshore learning has an awesome one! DS had the same one at his preschool so it holds up to daily use

Boogie boards are cool too. Costco carries one that I got for my boys

DS1 got this one from Santa last year and it's held up well.
We're going to a Santa Brunch thing with some relatives, and they bring gifts for DD and we bring gifts for their kids.
So I need suggestions for an infant girl, a two year-old girl, and a four year-old boy (and the boy has sensory and food allergy issues, if that makes a difference in your ideas).
What about a 5 yo boy? He's into marine life and space. He loves to draw, but he's just as happy with his markers and a pad of paper - I'm not sure he would care about any other art supplies.
I think we're going to get a few classic kid games, and we have a few smaller things, like some Lego, Playmobil, books...he's asked for a Paw Patrol fire truck, but he has approximately 342 small Paw Patrol toys that he never plays with, and literally 4 large fire trucks.
DS is 8 and I have not a clue. He'll ask for more Pokemon cards so I guess I'll get that? He also likes archaeology gem dig kits.
DD is 6 and I have so many ideas. She's newly into AG dolls, so she'll get stuff for her doll. I'm keeping a close eye on my local b/s/t groups to try to find her stuff.
My son is turning 7 soon and he cannot get enough of the loud printed Stance socks and Ethika underwear. It's all the rage at his school (and has been for years).

My 5 year old is getting legos, a dino matching game, magic kit, and sunglasses. He's into endangered animals and wants to make a donation so we're doing a donation to our zoo foundation and I'm making him a shirt with a snow leopard.

I was also thinking about this snap circuits thing.
