Besides the medical side of things, what else are you doing to help improve fertility? Supplements? Cutting out certain foods? Acupuncture?
Have you seen good response from any of it or do you figure it can't hurt to try?
I've dropped ~80 lbs in the last 10 months (so obviously am eating very healthy right now - I have more to go) + I cut back on my coffee but that's about all; wondering what else I should be doing to help.
Warning, Debbie Downer post. I feel like I tried EVERYTHING. LOL. Back in March when I got my high FSH level, I cut out all sugar, gluten, caffeine and kept alcohol to a minimum and only on weekends. I went on a high protein, low carb diet. I drank tea and green smoothies every day. I was on like 30 pills of supplements a day (Co-Q10, prentals, fish oil, spirulina, maca, vitamin D, DHEA, and others I can't remember). I did weekly acupuncture. I went to the chiropractor. Unfortunately, nothing helped us. I mean I felt a lot better physically and I knew I was giving it everything I had, but ultimately we are still having to move forward with donor egg IVF. I'm good with that now, but two months ago, I felt very defeated.
On the plus side, I have heard these things DO help others, so it can't hurt to try! :-)

I quit caffeine the day I started BCP back in September. I switched to decaf coffee. I also quit alcohol for the most part on the first day of BCP. Although, I'm doing a FET cycle right now and I've had a fair amount of wine this month and will likely have more on Thanksgiving (transfer not until the 27th). OOPS. I really try to avoid the random wine on a Tuesday when not socializing though.
I did the same thing for my first IVF cycle in 2016.
I've considered doing other things like pomegranate juice and pineapple core, but TBH I did all that shit while we tried "naturally" for a year and it didn't do shit so I'm just leaving it up to science and meds now. I'm tired. I take Vitamin D and prenatal, but I do that even not TTC.
My newest RE had me on basically a paleo diet, very strict. No dairy which was the hardest part for me (take away my sugar but don't take my cow's milk and cheese!). I quit alcohol once I started stims (but I cannot quit caffeine). My H did clomid and fertilaid for 3 months prior to our latest retrieval and ICSI.
We got our best quality embryos ever. I really think it was the combination of both that helped.

Hi, I'm new here. I've had 3 miscarriages in the last year. Just turned 35. I meet with an RE for the first time on Monday and an acupuncturist in a few weeks. I've been seeing a chiropractor since the summer.
For supplements I've started maca, vit D, royal jelly (which is absolutely the worst thing I have ever tasted), my prenatal, and just upped my CoQ10 to 200-300mg per day. I had started that after my second miscarriage. I also have a supplement powder of myo-inositol. I'll try just about anything.
I'm debating waiting a full 90 days before we start TTC to give everything a chance to really work, but losing more time scares me, too.

I'm so sorry we all find ourselves in this place.
I have also had multiple miscarriages in a row after having 2 normal pregnancies. I'm very nervously pregnant again now. I was going to add that I presume RE talked bout RPL testing. After talking with my OB, then RE and hematology with no answers, I met with maternal fetal medicine and actually found them extremely helpful. I hope you find some answers and something you can change. I'm happy to answer any more questions if that's helpful. You can search and find my prior posts with my whole history.

Feel free to PM me. Thanks for the good wishes. Nervous about my 12 week US tomorrow as that's where we found out bad news last time.
