I finished The Cost of Living by Deborah Levy. It’s short but I absolutely loved it. It was in the Rachel Cusk vein but much warmer.
I just started Assymetry by Lisa Halliday. It’s so light, but since was on the NYTimes best books of the year list, I assume something more “deep” will develop.
QOTW: The guy who was my first love had a really big exam he was nervous about, so I spray-painted our initials in a heart in a prominent place on the route between our dorms and campus. Technically illegal but it made him so happy (and he passed!).
