I had my RPL blood work early last week including an ultrasound. I haven't heard anything back and I figure they'll call when they get results. Am I wrong? Maybe I'll call tomorrow.
I'm seeing two practices right now and would like to consolidate down to the one I feel more aligned with. I feel bad though, the group I'd be leaving got me in for all the labs first 😬 just gonna take my results and run. Are my ultrasound pictures considered my medical records?
I just feel like I should be doing something. How long does the initial info gathering part take?
(Sorry for all the questions)
We had a long appointment with re after all the testing was done to discuss results as well as potential next steps. Did the office allude to doing that or that someone would call you? I would call to check in and see what the plan will be to review results

As I understood it, we would be scheduling a follow up once the results came in. I thought that I'd have heard something by now though. I was trying not to be pushy 😅 they did a karyotype on me as well, and I know that can take a bit longer. Maybe I should call and schedule something just so I have it on my schedule. I'd hate to wait a month, hear that the results are in, then have to wait another month for the review appt.
I'll be doing additional testing, but I'm going to be doing that all with the second group. Their schedule was a lot easier to manage and all the procedures could be conducted in-house. The other group only had the lab open for two hours in the early morning and were sending me to multiple locations. Is most fertility testing like that?
Thanks for the nudge to call them though. I wasn't sure if I was being impatient or not.
Oh and in regards to pgs. It wasn't even a blip on our radar our first ivf. But this one I am pretty sure we will do it unless we only get one or two embryos then we may rethink. After having 8 embroys fail (one was a chemical pregnancy) I would feel better with the additional testing to see if we just don't make good embryos genetically.
We are doing our last IUI before moving on to the IVF trial in the spring. I went in for monitoring today and have follicle on each side that is 16mm, so we are doing my last dose of gonalF tonight, trigger tomorrow, and IUI Monday. I responded SO much better to gonal than i did menopur so I am very happy! I really hope this works!!!!

Great news! And if this doesn't work (fingers crossed!) hopefully your better response to the gonal can help inform an effective IVF stims protocol. Good luck!!
