1. Where are you at on this journey? (TTC#, month/cycle, CD, DPO) TTC#2, cycle #1, CD 20, 7DPO
2. Any upcoming tests? Later this week for sure
3. What is your favourite winter activity? Please note hibernation is an accepted option (according to DH). I love Cross Country skiing but we haven’t had a good snow pack the past couple of years and I have not had a chance to travel to the groomed trails about a 45 min drive North of me. We had so much snow two weeks ago I was all excited for the season but it’s pretty well all gone now.
4. Questions, randoms? I may be having implantation bleeding as of lunchtime today. I have on all previous pregnancies so it’s something that I’m prone too. I’ve also had a couple of chemical pregnancies when TTC with DD1 so I’m not getting too excited. I’ll continue to keep an eye on my temperatures. We really only had one well timed BD this month so I am very surprised since I O’d two days early. Now I have to wait.
1. Where are you at on this journey? (TTC#, month/cycle, CD, DPO) TTC#2, cycle 6, 13 dpo
2. Any upcoming tests? No, I had a major temp drop yesterday and am waiting on AF so we can start cycle 7
3. What is your favourite winter activity? All things indoors. Otherwise tubing and playing in the snow with DS as long as it is not ass cold.
4. Questions, randoms? Just feeling pretty bummed out that I’m not KU. We conceived DS in cycle 7 so if next cycle doesn’t work we will officially be into new territory. With DS I had a c-section that ended up getting infected at the incision. I’ve had a sneaking suspicion for years that it would cause issues getting pregnant again. I’m 34 now so not far from that magic 35 number. I’m wondering if I should call my doctor to start look into an ultrasound/HSG now or wait until we hit the year mark if I’m still not pregnant.

My friend who is TTC (also 34) with no known health issues was told to come in whenever she wanted to talk after 6 months of active trying with OPKs. So if 7 months is your mental cut off I think it wouldn’t hurt to call and ask what next steps could look like. I have a history of lots of CPs so while this is ‘fast’ for us this time, I’m also not expecting the entire process to take less than 8 months (how long it took for DD with two CPs in the mix).

Thanks. 7 months is definitely my mental cutoff. I was really hoping my body would get with the program and be quicker about it this time.
1. Where are you at on this journey? (TTC#, month/cycle, CD, DPO) TTC#2, cycle 6, day 4
2. Any upcoming tests? No, starting over
3. What is your favourite winter activity? Snowshoeing! Or sledding. But I'm picky on weather, I hate wind.
4. Questions, randoms? I'm in the same boat as others in this thread. We have an RE appointment next week and I'm hoping for some answers. My fingers are crossed that sometimes it just takes awhile but if I'm totally honest I was hoping to get pregnant so I wouldn't have to go to this appointment.
Probably not this week. Maybe early next week, Monday or so? I’d like to wait until 12DPO, but odds are unlikely.
I’d have to go with hibernate. I hate being outside in the cold. My son loves it, so I get drug out there frequently. I just hate being cold. I try to convince MH to move south, but he likes the snow. Though I guess blizzards are better than hurricanes or scorpions. Marginally.
My co-worker showed me a picture of her gestational sac- we’re ultrasound techs so she scanned herself- and I wanted to yell that I don’t care! Though I keep opening up room for annoying comments about her pregnancy. At least she hasn’t said lately how “we weren’t even planning on trying yet”. Bitch please. Ugh.
I haven’t had any normal post ovulation symptoms that I would usually have by now. Usually my boobs start getting sore around 4 DPO. They just feel normal right now. I guess we’ll see. MH had some... performance issues so I’m not optimistic. Though he said there was something... having to force TTC sex really sucks.
biogirl21 - I feel you on the TTC sex. We had a rough go of it a few times when TTC #1. The month we were finally successful DH had a horrendous chest infection and was super sick. I basically said now or never but don’t you dare touch me or kiss me - and that’s how we conceived our child. It’s definitely a frustrating process in a lot of ways.
1. Where are you at on this journey? (TTC#, month/cycle, CD, DPO) TTC#1, CD43 (I have PCOS)
2. Any upcoming tests? Nope, since I'm on CD43 I'll probably start progesterone to force a period
3. What is your favourite winter activity? Sitting in the house watching it snow with a good book and a mug of spiced apple cider or hot chocolate
4. Questions, randoms? If you're doing IVF in early part of 2019 would you prepay the bill now (if you're completely OOP) to have it hit for the 2018 taxes? IVF is the only option as we have 3 failed IUI's (last and final fail was October), I have PCOS and we have male factor (morp).

1. Where are you at on this journey? (TTC#, month/cycle, CD, DPO) TTC#2, Cycle 2, 10 DPO
2. Any upcoming test? I am trying to wait until I miss my period before taking a pregnancy test. But I did get some early cramping yesterday (period is due Sunday, so kinda early for that) and I had cramping with my first pregnancy, so I am a little hopeful for this cycle, though scared at the same time. And wanting to stay mellow (hence why waiting to test).
3. What is your favourite winter activity? Um, watching the kids and dogs play in the snow. Otherwise hibernating and waiting for it to no longer be jacket and sweater weather.
4. Questions, randoms? It’s been such a stressful year. Some was good things but still stressful (like getting married yay! But planning a wedding, paying for a wedding boo) and some were the worst things we ever experienced (like losing our baby to limb body wall complex in August). I was in a car accident last month. I’m fine. Car is totaled. But it seems to have been the thing to push me over the edge, and I just can’t figure out how to really de-stress and get myself feeling balanced and not anxious all the time :/

If you have the spare cash I’d probably pay it now for tax purposes. If it’s gong to be a stretch, then I’d wait.
1. Where are you at on this journey? (TTC#, month/cycle, CD, DPO) TTC#2, cycle #7, CD9 - should O next week sometime.
2. Any upcoming tests? Just OPKs
3. What is your favourite winter activity? We go ice skating in bear mountain every year at a really nice outdoor skating rink - otherwise just stay as warm as possible.
4. Questions, randoms? So I know some people go to the doctor if they have been unsuccessful TTC for 6 months but does the clock reset when you have a loss within that time frame?

vmars I am going to guess it depends on your loss. We had a loss at 13 weeks because the baby had something called Limb Body Wall Complex. It is a total fluke, not related to genetics or hormones. We knew he was sick at my 7 week scan, and we then had to wait for his heart to stop. And I conceived naturally. So for us, my doc recommended trying for 6 months from my first period after the loss. I’m a bit more complicated because I have a heart defect, which makes some of the fertility drugs much more dangerous, so we all really want me to conceive naturally. If you had an unexplained loss, I would probably go from 6 months from when you started originally in case there is something they can discover that may prevent another loss.
vmars my friend had an unexplained loss at 12 weeks and the clock did reset for her. She also feels like, since she conceived naturally once, there’s a good chance it will work again soon. In the case of repeat losses, then you need to talk to your OB about what could possibly be done.
Well I waited until 12DPO to test and I got a negative just now. My boobs were super sore yesterday and I had three days of light implantation bleeding so I feel like I’m pregnant, just too early. It was also a cheap test I had sitting around the house which said it only detected 50% of the time this early.
I had my office Christmas party on Friday and had a couple of drinks because I feel like I am continually being scrutinized at all times (my one year maternity leave is a major struggle for the company). I will definitely tell them earlier than I have to in order to enable them to arrange hiring if they need to, but I didn’t want to let everyone know before I could even test!
My office manager (an older Welsh woman) told me on a Wednesday that she had a dream I was pregnant and then woke up in a panic. I started implantation bleeding on Tuesday. She’s a witch!
