I am born and raised in the south and grandma always made biscuits with white lily flower (one of the few items that wasn’t store brand or cheap!) I didn’t realize it was different or unavailable in the north. It definitely makes stuff fluffier, softer and better.

Food Lion carries it if you have one.

I also ordered socks from this site...3.5 weeks ago...and I still don't have my order. Customer service today told me it just got to the U.S. (from China). I hope they look good when I get them since there won't be time to reorder! My point is, don't believe their "3-5 business days" shipping claim; I'd probably look elsewhere if you wanted photo socks.

Thinking about trying to figure out a ski date with just him and I, but we still have a $100 gift card to a restaurant from our anniversary in Aug that we haven't used, so I'm not sure we'll squeeze it in anytime soon, so it won't feel like a Christmas present much.

I got him fleece lined hiking pants from Duluth - he likes to snowshoe and these are a good medium weight.
regular hiking pants, sweaters for work, nice grill utensils, lifestraw water filter, Bluetooth beanie, boxers, hiking socks, personalized coffee tumbler to keep at the mtn house

H is getting a fire pit and some Calvin Klein pajamas from Nordstrom.  He was eyeing them in the store once when we were there but I know he would never spend the money on himself for them.  I also got him a restaurant gift card....but that's really for both of us.

I got him a custom Benchmade knife. It is more than I would normally spend but gifts are my love language (LOL) and I have some extra Christmas money this year. He is also getting some funny t-shirts and some beard balm, oil and shampoo.

He wears funny graphic t-shirts all the time and I order from SnorgTees if anyone needs ideas.

I bought H some hot sauce (Secret AardVark from Portland, OR ), and some thermal socks because he's been complaining about his feet being cold.  I will probably give him the socks early, whenever Amazon delivers it, he's been complaining A LOT.

I saw the perfect t-shirt for a friend at the Pride Parade but I didn't want to carry it around so I took a picture of the company's name so I could order later but it wasn't on their website. I can't find it anywhere. It's a cartoonish looking fish tank and says "I'm tanked!" on the front. I found a bunch with a military tank on it but not a fish tank. If anyone has amazing google skills and sees it, please let me know.

H has told me he would like slippers for Christmas. So I think I am getting him a pair of bearpaws but I only wear mine in the winter and occasionally during the rest of the year as they are a bit on the toasty side. He would prefer slip on moccasin-styled with a hard bottom hence why I was immediately going to get him a pair of bearpaws like I have be thought I would see what else was out there. Any other suggestions?


ETA: man, there are some seriously ugly slippers out there.

We got big round gift boxes - the size of an old-fashioned hat box - for each other this year and everything we buy has to fit, if it's one thing or lots of things. I went with a hygge themed box (his ethnic background is half nordic) with lots of things. It's totally full now and he's getting:

Several Books
Hygge game
Another game (Snake Oil - we both work in marketing)
Socks
A robe (it's a thin cotton one - I was shocked this fit)
Homesick candle
Coffee beans
A mini speaker for his phone
A top-ranked pen by the Strategist (he's obsessed with pens)
A screwdriver tool thingy for his keychain
A microwave popcorn popper and popcorn salt
Shaving soap
And a nose hair trimmer because that's one of the things he asked for, LOL.

I might manage to get some whiskey filled chocolates in but I'm shocked the thing is closed as it is. ETA: I might also stick some symphony tickets in there, since I just found out I might have to travel abroad for work leaving him with our 7YO, an elderly cat that needs meds, an elderly dog and a three-month-old puppy for a week. Maybe season tickets, LOL.
